I am getting to the point where I can leave the house whenever I want for quite a long time. If you need a game to keep you busy or something I have a nice website. Having nothing to do gets boring quickly... >_<

Do you like creative writing by the way? In the Writer's Workshop GW started a game 'tell your story in 100 words' and maybe you'd like to play along. It's a bit stuck at the moment.

Shia Islamic clerics. In Iran, if someone calls you a Mullah-che when you are not one, you are viewed as fully justified to beat the crap out of that person in the public eye.

They are very much hated. If a taxi driver sees a Mullah waving him down, he wont pick him up, and if one does get in the car, the driver wont go.

Seen it with my own eyes, and boy did it bring me great joy.

Nah, nobody gives a **** about them except other fanaticals. And you can spot them a mile in coming.

Oh, and in Iran, they don't have religious police like they do in palestine or Sandy Arabia. Nah, the cops will only come after you if you like, run one over or beat a Mullah up. But that's the same with anybody. Only the REAL high up Mullahs have protection and brute squads, but then again, you never see those ****s on the street, because people would still kill them.

The cops are pretty decent in Iran, it's just the Basiji and Rev. guard that you have to step careful around. And those guys are under the thumb and orders of the Supreme Council, so they only are brought out to kill students and politcal opponents when there are protests. You don't see them in the streets often.

Lol, Empress, you at risk for twins or something? My cousin most certainly is and she is thinking very carefully about it, specially since she is a petite lil thing and her husband is the size of a draft horse in comparison.

Hey I read that the grandson of Khomeini was maybe running for Election the up-coming one in May, June (?), and that he is fairly moderate in comparison with the wacko in charge now. And there's another wacko, the Major of Teheran, and he may be running too. I so hope the grandson runs!

Actually the Mayor of Tehran is a pretty decent guy, he's the one that has eased up on the cops for restrictions and actions against women and such. He's not as much of a wacko as others.

And at anyrate, the "President" of Iran is merely a figure head. Only thing they have control over is Agriculture, Education (to a degree), State Employment (like appointing ministers, ONLY after the Supreme Council agrees to them, though). The real power lies only with the Supreme Council (the name kinda is a give away, no?) in regards to international relations, military and the general running of the country.

Eesh. Anyways. I have a friend now. I'm happy. She's so cool; an exchange student from Uzbekistan. I am inviting her over for Kabob. We can reminise about home, since we are practically neighbors and speak the same language. Happy times!
