Sorry, sorry.
Ok, sorry if this question is too easy or has been done already. Where did characters encounter the creatures the Neekerbreekers and whom named them as such? |

They were called neekerbreekers by Sam, and didn't they encounter them in the midge-marshes? They were some kind of evil cricket (tho I think all crickets are evil).

Yes, barrelrider110 and Cirdan were correct. (I have finally found someone as intolerably fastidious as I!)
Look, I came back in 48 hours so that you guys wouldn't have to wait for too long... (In addition to the fact that it is a Friday night and I can't be bothered doing Logarithms!) |

Easy peezy lemon squeezy, I'm here.
Try this one: The master of the Old Forest was known by many names. What did the Elves call him, that means "oldest and fatherless"?

Linaewen, I dub thee Tolkien Triviamaster-Fangirl.
Ask away. Lizra, you may recognize that line is from Austin Power's Goldmember. My offspring quote the movie constantly.

Maybe, I've never seen "Hey Arnold!"
Michael Caine delivers that line in "Goldmember". My brood is a in their teens so they can view movies with, ummm, more adult content.

We don't know if the steed actually belonged to Glorfindel, but Frodo rode him to escape the Black Riders to the Ford of Bruinen.
