What do you mean, "need to know?" Are you kidding me? Alls' I would like to know is if the moon is actually full tonight, or do we still have a day or two 'til it's technically full, because when I went out earlier the moon looked very full but you never can tell, and since you are the resident astronomist around here, I figured you, if anyone, would have a definitive answer. Guess I'll have to check the Weather website to find out for sure.

Yes, I would have to myself. I was kidding.
I really don't know. I beleive it's in it's waning gibbous phase by now. Like I said, it's too cloudy to easily check.

I tried to introduce a Tolkien Do you know this at www.theonering.org yesterday, but it's tough, first of all u can't edit the your own replies, and therefore not show succesive unluers that the previous set of clues has been unclued.

they have some weird postplacing as well.

First comes the main post and if you dont watch out you attach a reply to that post instead of replying to the latest one in the thread.

Well, wish me luck you guys - I just finished making my first online resume, and e-mailed it to a restaurant nearby which is looking to hire; it sure will be awesome if I get a job there. Can't wait to be in full ownership of my own life again. No more depending on my control-freak yet-well meaning man. I want my own life back!! One thing at a time. This little job will be a nice start. Wish me luck!!

Best of luck, Lotesse. I see you edited out a few of your posts, but I presume they're about self-reliance and financial independence?

The .org link redirects you to theonering.net so there is just the one site.

Who wants coffee? I make excellent coffee. But I'm sure you all know that by now.

We're offering medium roast organic Ethiopian fairly-traded coffee with your choice of skim or 2% milk, soy milk, or cream, as well as flavoured shots (vanilla, irish cream, and butterscotch).

Coming right up! I actually have no idea if butterscotch is a good coffee flavour, so you'll have to let me know. I can definitely vouch for the other two!

I'm going to have my coffee with cream and vanilla.

I love cream in my coffee. I was going to buy International Delight flavoured coffee cream (Irish Cream), but I discovered that it isn't cream, it's liquid coffee whitener!

I am not paying $4 for glorified Sweet'n'Low.

So I got a little thingie of normal cream ($1) and vanilla syrup instead. But for a while there, my world was falling apart!

I think the moon was full on the 13th, IIRC. It's been really pretty the last few nights! BTW, I finally figured out a way to figure if it's waxing or waning just by looking at it (i.e., not knowing where in the cycle it was beforehand). Anyone else know?

Good luck on the job, Lotesse!

*restocks the Chai machine*

Chai, anyone?

EDIT - the moon was full on the 14th, not the 13th, and also there was a penumbral eclipse, but hard to see...

Passed this poor chap on my way in and it looked like he needed a friend so I invited him in. Hope no one minds. Tessa, I'm sure that job is in the bag with your knowledge of fine eats and drinks.

The moon looked full to me last night. I never really can tell but if it's bright enough for me to turn my head lights off and still see the road, it's full to me.

Edit- I love tigers!
