Whatever Anna. You know, it wouldn't be a race at all, because I will chase her as Turin did Searos, smacking her rump with my SoW as she runs. Then, I will come for you!

Wait... so you're a druid now? What's with people all of the sudden? And you no doubt expect me to explain with a snide invisible comment, of course. Joke's on you, Nyah! Not gonna do it!

Are you still arguing about Druids, even here?

So... will YOU be the one to finally start the 'Men of Appendix A' thread? Hmmm... not sure it has the same 'umph!' to it... but hasn't THIS thread been about exhausted??

I can't believe I just did that.

In Honour of Valandil...

Mind you. I still think Finrod is the coolest, most amazing, noblest, most handsome, and all around BEST in every sense of the word Elf that ever was, is, or ever will be...

But unfortunately (I HATE YOU THINGOL!) he didn't survive to be in the Appendices... though, perhaps on a technicality...

You're wrong. You're all wrong! BELEG is the best, the "the coolest, most amazing, noblest, most handsome" of them all. And who knows what deeds he would still have accomplished if not for that fatal hour upon wich the world lost a true hero.

yeah Beleg is, was, a great hero. I always liked him, it is something about the character which interests me.
but the coolest in Sil I think must be Turgon. from first moment I read about him, I was engrossed. a magnificent man.
and though he is no man, Thorondor is one of my favourites. sadly though, that name was already taken

Turgon wasn't a man either

Yes. I should actually change the title of this thread to "Males of the Silmarillion."

Ah, but Men of the Silmarillion sounds better, IMO.

What, SGH, no comment? I guess I'll have to do it for you...

Is anyone else here of the opinion that Finrod single-handedly held Beleriand together during the First Age? He dies and everything falls to pieces...

Coincidence? I think not...

So let's think on what the 2nd and 3rd Ages would have been like if he had lived...

Oh, I wouldn't worry too much about all these fickle women in this thread Elemmire. They can't seem to make up their minds about who they love. Some are sharing guys, others have more than one. You have really nutsy ones like BoP that want to call the greatest Elf of the First Age (Finrod), a namby pamby. Now what's that tell you about these girls? It tells you that 1.) They have no taste. And 2.)Fickle, fickle, fickle. Look at the beginiing of the thread at how they cut our hero down. Little twits with no taste.
