I would have used the term 'circus' but I think Khan Geruth is too diplomacy-minded for that.

and the situation was just asking for that Gandalf reference...

I have about 40 years of catching up to do, and since time is relative depending on distance from a source of gravity, velocity, acceleration, and so on, this puts that number down to around 40 hours. But if we were to measure time not by the effects of gravity and instead measure time as a scalar of the EM force, it would take about 2 seconds, since EM > gravity and time. And in addition, that last part is completely science fiction, too (except for EM > gravity, which is true, and time being a counter-force to gravity which I -think- is at least somewhat true since perimeter to gravity slows time)! xD

Anyway, I hope nobody died yet. Not sure what my character's doing now. He could be "swimming with the fishes" for all I know.

Our characters all think that Quickleaf died, because he fell into the river during the battle, and noone saw him again - but the story shows that he did survive, and we'll no doubt get him back some day.

Not everybody will have to think up an act, I'm sure if a couple of people step up, that will be enough. Radagast in any case will do some ah- cheap conjuror tricks. And you don't have to decide yet if or what you want to do, you've got some time until we actually get at the Celebration site.

Speaking of time, summer time is approaching (at least in this hemisphere of the world) and usually that includes holiday. (I for one, will be absent the whole month of July.) And last year we took a break in August so that nobody had too much catching up to do afterwards. Will we be doing that this year too?

Tabrîl officially gives up on diplomacy. While her writer loves the circus idea, Tabrîl can't share her opinion.

I was sure Tabrîl was going to bolt as soon as the Seer was mentioned, something like "Aaah, mysteries, I'm a warrior, I can't listen to this!" and woosh, she does a runner. So, I reckon she isn't all that predictable

That's what she'd do if Teye tried to tell her about any visions, actually. So you weren't too far off.

*snort* It would probably be quite a shock to Tabril to find out that the silly little girl she's been protecting isn't as insignificant as she might think

Ok, let's *not* give Tabrîl a nervous breakdown? I seriously don't know what she'd do if she found out.

I'll be here till half July, but I'll be gone from the 17th of July till about the 24th of August and then I'll be real busy preparing for my new studies.
I'm all in favour of a break.

If you can make it to clear to Ellysa she isn't supposed to humiliate herself and endure torture in order to entertain others or read someone's fortune, she's probably willing to do some bo-climbing and acrobatics.

That's just it, as writers we're bound by the life we've given our characters, and have to let them live those lives as they see fit, not suddenly change them randomly.

Exactly. So no knife-throwing circus acts from Tabril, no matter how entertaining it'd be.

Baru is an entertainer already - she's a great singer, it's only her modesty that shrugs it off as "some skill". She often sings to the other Elves at Rivendell, so she doesn't mind at all singing to an audience at this Celebration.
