I just had a conversation over Facebook! It's amazing! Just like MSN or GoogleTalk, but this works for everyone on facebook with that app. I'm amazed... Oh wait, I said that allready...
But it was great, since he doesn't have another messengerprogramme, so we only talked once over the phone, which is pretty expensive from Japan to the Netherlands.
But I'll shut up about it.

Is anyone into Risk? *sets up the gameboard* Let's play then!

I love Risk! I have a Risk Lord of the Rings version. It's fun to play with all the tiny elves.

I've never played it. We dont' have that many board games, so most of the board games that I've played ahve been at a friends house. But I have one friend who usually gives board games as presents, so I've gotten one from her, so now we have like 3 or something.

So, as soon as I can sing properly again, I'm gonna record my cellphone answering message to me singing a little 'jazzily': "Hey, it's Anthony, you've reached my phone! Leave me a message after the tone," then I speak, "and I'll get back with you as soon as I can."

I know, it's not very clever, but I actually got the idea because the other day, randomly, I had to call my sister and I just started singing when the tone beeped... I think I sang something like, "Hello Betsy, if you're home then I need you to pick up the phone!" and she picked up the phone and was laughing. It's just totally quirky and I think it's cute

. Sure beats what I have right now, which is just me saying, "Hey, thanks for calling! This is Anthony. Leave me a message and I'll get back with you as soon as I can."

Hm, unless I can get some of my friends to work with me on this? Then maybe I could do it as a tiny little barbershop quartet thing. That would be hilarious but probably too much for my phone to handle

Ours is the usual thing, but one of my friends' changed her family's message at one point to something like : Hi, you've reached (name). We're probably here, but we're avoiding someone's call. Leave a message, and if we pick up that means we like you."

I totally hate my sisters message which goes something like this: This is... (pause) oh yes, how are you? (long pause) Well, I'm not here, so please leave a message.
It sounds so real that you start telling what you want to tell and then it turns out that you're talking to a stupid voicemail thingie!

Actually, it is quite well executed.

Have you seen anything on TV about this? I know it's a serious thing, but the news was very funny to look at.
The Australia news is disturbing though. What's it with people and drugs? Read a book, build an airplane, do something useful!

I adore snow. I've always had fun in it, even now that I have jobs and school to attend to, it just hasn't lost it's charm for me. That and I'm a good foul weather driver helps.
