Geez, hungry. Time to make my signature chicken stir fry. Lin, if you're around, stop laughing.

I'm making prosciutto and tomato sandwiches if anyone wants one. Served with beer, Dutch beer.

Those cars are cool, but I like my cars the best. Mercedes Benz is really tough to beat for performance, period. Even the heavy sedans are insanely powerful and glide like an iceskater at speeds up to almost 200 mph. Plus, the Porsches are amazing, too. My man had this one Porsche which was like twenty years old, and it flew, I mean no problems at all, it flew, and cornered on a dime, and all-a-dat.

But I still prefer the Benzes, definitely. Like my boyfriend's 2001 500 SL, which I took for a joy-ride the other day - don't anyone tell him. What he doesn't know won't hurt 'im, besides he has plenty of friggin' cars, what's one little SL? I wish I could keep the SL, but it's too expensive for my man to give to me. My own car is a 400,a mid-size sedan, a good, very fast, very pretty, strong and awesome car. My other one is a 560, very very powerful, a monster of power, but not as fast 0-60wise as my 400.

I'm in love with driving, too, Heem. I really, really wish they hadn't shut down your Driving thread you made.

IMO Merc doesn't offer the pure(er) driving experience that BMW does, but they are great for what their intended markets demand. Similar to Lexus and Audi.

I hate Lexus, cheap little cars. Bleah. Friggin' Lexus, bleah. I do not like them, Sam I Am.

A few years ago I had a silver BMW 325 ti that you would have loved, Justin-Heem. This car was right up your alley - well, maybe not literally. My Italian ex-boss sold it to me, man that car was fun to drive. He was a driv-a-holic, too, so you know this car handled fast & furious. Definitely your kind of car.

Cheap little cars? I beg to differ. And while I admire the handling dynamics of the 325ti, I just could not get over the silly looks.

Oi, Anna. I remember you were a staunch anti-car person. What is your opinion on hybrids? Would you consider owning one down the line?

it kinda looks like an art deco R2-D2, but I have only to assume that it is the aforementioned starship mentioned in the aforesaid poster's signature.

Cheap, yes. Common-like. And I don't have to ask. My boyfriend has one he is trying to sell. I hate that car. Cheap as in, the way they're made. Lexus is just a glorified Toyota Cressida. I can't stand Lexus's; I don't understand what all the fuss about them is. They are a way, way overrated car, so silly cars these Lexi.

Lol!!! Teenagers overdosed on sugar and caffeine. This is hilarious! Nice!!

O.K., I don't see how this is silly looking -

Lexus's look like just about any other car, same tired old design. Except for a couple select models, but even still, I must stay true to my anti-Lexus platform. Overrated hunka tin. Meh.

I love your sigs, klatukatt!

Basically, Lexus just copies the designs of the Mercedes Benz and BMW models, even Maybech they copy from. Totally unoriginal designs. Not art.

Oh c'mon! That is the silliest looking BMW of the last decade! Followed closely by the X3, of course. And the 6-series.

It's not a silly car, though. But I did end up selling it back to my ex-boss, and he shipped it to Italy with him when he moved back to Milan. I turned around bought a little red Nissan 280Z with T-tops, and came to L.A. with the rest of the money. I wrecked that poor 280Z, but while it lasted, it was an awesomely fun car. I got a lot of looks in that car! It was fun, but I'm now stuck on Mercedes Benz's.

Hybrids are a step in the right direction. Anyway, not so much anti-car, as in anti-drive-down-to-the-shops-when-it-is-a-two-minute-walk.

And I know that you guys are getting the new series, so watch it, or else I will take preventative action to stop you breeding. This WILL involve a pineapple.

hee hee! Yankee heathen...

What about these two beauties, Heem? These are Pininfarina designs, don't even think about refuting the fact that Sergio Pininfarina is a total design genius. Him and his father, both. And Renzo Carli.
