This is perhaps a very hard question, so I'll give you a hint if you need one:
What's the real (Valarin) names of Manwë and Ulmo?

Manawenuz=Manwe

Uluboz=Ulmo

I can't do those lines on the top of the letter 'U', BTW. Don't know how.

You're right, go ahead!

On my keyboard I have special buttons for the different signs, but I don't know any other ways to do it. However, I have heard of a "charactermap", which should list them...

From The Peoples of Me: The Shibboleth of Fëanor
Quote:
Arakáno was the tallest of the brothers and the most impetuous, but his name was never changed to Sindarin form, for he perished in the first battle of Fingolfin's host with the Orks, the Battle of the Lammoth (but the Sindarin form Argon was often later given as a name by Ñoldor and Sindar in memory of his valour).
From Book of Unfinished Tales: Of Tuor and his Coming to Gondolin, Note 31
Quote:
Now Turgon himself would appear, "tallest of all the Children of the World, save Thingol,
So if Arakáno was the brother of Fingon and Turgon, and he was the tallest of the sons of Fingolfin, the Arakáno was the Tallest Ñoldor ever.
Give me a day to post the next question.

“What does the term american refers to” asked the boy, and the wise man answered: “Lets look at the dictionary then.”
As an adjective American is:
1. Of or relating to the United States of America or its people, language, or culture.
2. Of or relating to North or South America, the West Indies, or the Western Hemisphere.
As a noun American is:
A native or inhabitant of America.
A citizen of the United States.

Then the boy asked, “What is America then?”, and the wise man looked at the dictionary again:
1. The United States.
2. also the A·mer·i·cas. The landmasses and islands of North America, Central America, and South America.

Confused, the boy asked, “Does the term american refers solely to a us citizen or to any person in North, Central or South America?”
The wise man replied: “What do you think?”, and the boy answered: “It is clear to me that while the term american is used to refers to us citizens, one can also use it to refer to any person who is from that continent too,” the boy thought for a while and asked the wise man, “Am I right?”, and he replied: “But of course.”
The boy wondered, why is it that some people refuse to acknowledge the fact that the term american refers not only to US citizens but to anyone of the American continent?, but then sadly, the boy understood, that it is the calamity of ignorance.

*bump*

It's been more than a day, so I'm giving you something to ponder:
Who were the three most gifted musicians among the Elves?

You got it right together! Now who's gonna post the next question? If we follow the same rules as in the quote thread, then Eärniel should have a go.
