Sam Gamgee

In the movie, it sounds like Bilbo says "squash them into chili" when he's telling the story to the children. For some reason, this makes more sense!

Lurtz says in the LotR mocie "Find my half legs". Irrelevant but very funny.

Hmm that's a good question. It seems to ring a bell, but my Hobbit is packed so I can't check! Is it something to eat? Or maybe a substance used to make something with?

It is something you eat!!! what's more easy then to find it!!!

hint: it's for long journies, and it's not tasty after you eat it long time without anything else.

I see no one knows the answer, so I'll ask a new question:

who asked the first question in the riddle contest between Bilbo and Gollum? (hope you understand what's "riddle contest" )

"What is cram?"

I'll let Bilbo answer that:
Quote:
If you want to know what cram is, I can only say that I don't know the recipe; but it is biscuitish, keeps good indefinitely, is supposed to be sustaining, and is certainly not entertaining, being in fact very uninteresting except as a chewing exercise. It was made by the Lake-men for long journeys.
As to the second question, Gollum asked first, at Bilbo's invitation. (I peeked.)
