i'm a meateater i like animals and all but i like to eat 'em too. just about every animal is adorable but the only adorable ones i eat are pigs, chickens, and cows. so i don't feel bad for eating 'em. when i think about how it got to my plate though it grosses me out so sometimes i jsut can't eat meat. other than that i don't mind eating animals.

Save a plant....eat a cow

I was once vegetarian. Now I think being vegetarian is pointless. The cow was raised to be cut up, besides they would die anyway right? I understand where you are coming from but think food chain. If the humans didn't eat the chickens there would be about a million of them. So we are kind of keeping the population down.

Well actually no. If humans didn't eat chickens, they wouldn't be bred by the millions in factory farms.

I suppose it's all right to murder people, because they're going to die anyway, aren't they? I don't think we are in any danger of being overrun by chickens - we breed them to eat.

i really couldnt live as a vegetarian...
i suppose im not that fussed about the disgusting meat products found in Four 'n' Twenty pies or sasauges.
i see no point in becoming a vegetarian, it wont do anything for me and i have no conscience when it comes to eating animals... personally i find it worse killing animals and i do that so why not eat them... ohhh and why is it worse eating a cow that a fish???

Who says it's worse eating a cow than a fish?
I became a vegetarian about a year ago, and when I think about it, I'm a lot happier now (at least in the eating capacity) than I was. I really used to hate eating meat, and I'm so glad I don't!

The theory behind fish eating being better than cow eating is that freshly caught fish live in freeedom until their demise, whereas cows are not. Also, when a fish is caught, it is a matter of the luck of the draw, not all fish get caught. But the cows have no opportunity for anything but to be eventually eaten. Thirdly, there is the fact that cows are mammals and fish are lower in the taxonomy.

i really don't care at all about animals. i don't eat meat because of the way the human beings employed in the meat-packing industry are treated. i won't really go into it here because i'm sure no one wants to hear it. check out "fast food nation" by eric schlosser for an excellent and brief analysis of the industry. of course, there's always "the jungle" by upton sinclair, since have in reality changed very very little since then. but yeah, that's why i'm vegetarian.

Ok, that mostly makes sense, accept for the last bit, because I don't think you can rank animals and decide which ones are ok to eat. Also more and more fish are being bred on farms, so its starting not to be any different.
