When I was a kid, my dad used to let me run along this beam that must have been at least 3m high, with only him at the bottom in case I fell. I could never do that now. (And yes, I think he was trying to kill me.*)
*Better put a winky in so you know I'm kidding.

I like the dark; sometimes. At night, walking the doggie, I imagine Ringwraiths riding down the street after me though, so I like night time WITH a friend nearby!

"We like the dark." "Dark for dark business Mr. Baggins."
Sorry, I had to. I find that when I think there's reason to be afraid of he dak, I become afraid. But when I believe that there's nothing out there and that the dark is quite peaceful, I have no fear at all. I'm not indecisive!.........am I indicisive? I can't remember what i was afraid of in my childhood. Certainly wasn't Vader (wimp ). Actually, i remember having a severe fear of death when I was about 5 or 6. Don't remember why, I just did. Only lasted for about a month, but still i had a fear of death.

Ya know Lefty, I have no clue why it would make me feel better! Possibly because then I would have someone to defend....? I'm strange like that.

I have an incredibly stupid fear.
I'm afraid of nasal sprays. I have to use one now for my sinus infection and I just can't bring myself to do it.

Christiana, they shouldn't have let you see that movie when you were that little!
Don't worry WiseWizard, on that one I'm a bit indicisive too . When I was little I slept on a bunkbead, and the distance between the two middle rungs was larger than the others, and I always was afraid of a goblin reaching out from the lower bed and grabbing my foot as I climbed up. So for the longest time, I always scampered up that ladder at high speed. Nowadays . . . There are a few usual fears, but nothing major really. But even if there aren't any really big fears, that doesn't necessarily mean that I'm brave; I am occasionally a coward. Now, WiseWizard, does that look indicisive or what? It's actually not very contradictory though, if you analyze it . Last edited by Lief Erikson : 10-18-2002 at 01:48 AM. |

Freddy Krueger. I saw a COMMERCIAL with him in it when I was little... he burst through a newsroom wall and said, "Heya, kids.".... I had nightmares for a month and still can't bring myself to watch him. Stupid, I know, but....

I get scared that someone at my school will bring a gun and kill everyone.
I am also scared of biking down steep wet trails.(I know that made no, sense but I just rode down a wet trail and was scared my bike would slip.) And I am scared of the snipper who is killing almost anyone who serves as an easy target. I start to move around at my bus stop just to avoid giving him or her a good shot.(He can be anywhere)

Not really. There was this really stupid theory that the snipper shot 11 people but only 9 died. They think it is related to nine eleven.
