I'm house-sitting (really dog-sitting) for a friend from choir. He's got a german shepherd, and it's a really fun dog but I don't think I'd ever want to own one... that dog has WAY too much energy, and no interest in being petted.

I seriously played with that dog till it was breathing so heavily that it was hacking and trembling, and it STILL WANTED TO PLAY MORE. I like my dog better

. She's a cuddler.

By your avatar I see there is gonna be a Green Lantern movie. There was this series of comics I have that "starred" Green Lantern, Green Arrow and Black Canary. It dealt with really serious matters, such as drugs, crime, oppression, prejudice, injustice, and fateful decisions.

Phew, it's nice to be back here! I got grounded because I made a D in pre-calc (can you believe that? Me?! A D!), anyway I brought it back up to a C, so I think I'm un-grounded *thinks hard for a second*, well, I hope so atleast. I'm still not sure if I can get on during the week, but whatevs.

Been studying for the SAT like mad this weekend. I took an actual four hour practice test to prepare, and I used Tolkien in my essay

! Whoop! Whoop!

Anyway, just checking in, I've got to go to sleep soon, and would like to watch some Flying Circus before that, so yeah.

(Oh yeah! Anyone into the game The Sims? The Sims 3 comes out next month! June 2nd or 3rd, I believe. So excited! Same week as that damned test

Glad you're still alive!

We had one of the worst storms in a long time last night. The sky was pretty much constantly white with lightning. Too bright to watch even. And the rain was going horizontal at some point. Can't get to school at the moment because of the effects of the storm on the trains.

Yeah, I nearly fell out of bed at 3 AM when the rains were clattering so loud I though somebody was dropping a bucket of marbles outside my window. 30 000 lightning hits have been counted over here. I can readily believe it, there were several flashes per second! A freight train got blown sheer of the rails. And the thunder was so constant you just had a continuous roar about the house. I couldn't sleep for an hour until it passed over us. I thought the street was going to be flooded for sure, because the neighbours are building and they're draining the groundwater right into the street sewers. But it looks like our parts escaped with minimal damage.

Freaky.
Our strawberry plant was hit hard. It's pot is no more. I was able to save a few strawberries from the plant though

Our birdhouse is no more either.

In good news: I made it in time for my Music exam, which I passed
