Ok, Van Helsing was fun. Disregard everything you know about Dracula and you'll enjoy it.

We had 10 people in the front row all clapping at random places in the movie. We also giggled when we shouldn't have.

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

My hat looks like Van Helsing's.

On a scale of one to ten, I give it nine moots.

YAY!!!

I saw Fight Club for a second time today. I enjoyed it the first time, but this time I just saw it as a really sick twisted, easy to misinterpret film.

curious...

Is this a post 9/11 effect or has your prespective changed? I felt a bit different about it after that, at least the ending, but it is such a brilliant film overall. Yes, and sick twisted and maybe demented.

Just seen a film titled Elephant, and I enjoyed it, & although I remember all the teen voilence & bombings, it was a good movie.
In a way, it brings me back to my high school, and makes me remember what happened to my schools.
There was one scene that I didnt like at all, but I wont mention it here.

I also seen Stuck on you, and it wasnt very funny, or good.

I saw a WERID movie last night. It was called "Aguirre, the Wrath of God."

All the actors spoke english, but it was german made so the dubbed it in German, then they put english subtitles on it. And they were all playing Spaniards.

It's about a crazy guy named Aguirre who's spanish company is searching for El Dorado. He breaks off from the company and
gets his little group all killed
WACKO!

funny thing was that I watched it on DVD with friends and then it was on again in the evening. I watched it in the evening on TV after I posted, alone, and thought it was a very good film. I think it was my reponding to the anarchist nature of some of my friends.

I just saw The Horse Whisperer. Pretty ordinary, run-of-the mill romance.

And he wasn't really hoarse whisperer.

Well, I can cheer you up by taking issue with Fight Club, which is one of the best films of the 90s.

The Horse Whisperer did my head in. I'm sure it was a good enough story, but Robert Redford getting off with whatsername just stretched credulity too much.

lol! Yeah, as I say, watching the manufacture of human soap, and the trashing of modern art and a stylish cafe are made far more enjoyable when you don't think the other people in the room may go out and actually do it...

I don't see how anybody couldn't evjoy fight Club. It's my all time Favorite movie. It proves Brad Pitt's more than just a pretty face. He's an amazing actor.

Ah Fight Club. Brilliant movie. But we already knew that Brad Pitt could act from 12 Monkeys - also an amazing movie (by an ex-Python no less).

I just saw the Secret Window. Wish I hadn't known that Stephen King had written the novella. That kinda gave away the 'twist' to me. Oh well, Johnny Depp, as always, was good.

Ohhh... that reminds me... I need to pick up some papers..er, for my printer.

Just saw School of ROck. Much funnier than I expected, even with the kids in it. Heavy dose of Jack Black but he carries it off.

Remember the Easter Egg from the FotR DVD? "It's myyyy precioussssss." lol

I just saw Man on the Moon. I've seen it before. I think it's a very beautiful portrait of Andy Kaufman.
It also shows that Jim Carrey is capable of pretty much; he's a brilliant actor, IMO.

I love Man on the Moon.

My stepdad has a theroy about Jim Carey: With the right direction, he is brilliant. But when he works with a director that says "I can't direct him! He's Jim Carey! Let him go wild!" Jim Carey totally sucks.

That sounds like a good theory. It might be true!
