I found out today that the ancient Egyptians worshipped a frog-headed goddess named Heket. For some reason this makes me rather happy.

What beach is that? Never seen those on the Santa Monica beach, not that I'm really birdwatching, really, but all I ever see are the dullest seagulls west of the mighty Colorado. Cute.

Thanks, Lotesse! I could have used that like two weeks ago. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to stand up in front of the class and tell them about Carl Sagan. Well, hey, I guess Sagan would be a better project, considering the billions and billions() of words the the other would need.

The sweet relief the Mybulen brings. Also, the way one of my dogs comes and sits next to me.

Sour apples make me happy. I mean really very sour ones. The ones normal people wouldn't eat.

Hey! I didn't hear anything about that until last night. THe local news here ran a breif story... his parents are expecting a new penguin baby Yay!

Whoever it was who pulled off that penguin-napping caper in the first place really impresses me. And I doubt that they did any harm to Toga. It's more likely that they just loved penguins to an abnormal extent than that they used him in some sort of Satanic ritual, which is, I think, the usual reason someone tries to steal an animal from the zoo.

I suppose I'll get on topic:
Country breakfast makes me happy. I love eating ten lbs. of the world's tastiest foods first thing in the morning, and they're so rich they just knock you out for the rest of the day. *drools*

Being able to talk to people about astronomy without scaring them away makes me happy. Too bad I'll never meet anyone like that in my neck of the woods .
Well, at least no one who isn't just pretending to be interested, which is even worse. You got a problem with what I say? Tell me strait to my face!
But that's not the happy part:
I have you guys!

I like it when I get in a fit of inspiration and write something good and make people laugh... happens a lot when I'm writing in my rpg...

I just love that, especially when I'm writing something that I know will eventually make people laugh. (i.e. something in ZAQ1)

I like a nice cup of coffee and a donut, when I can get them. for afternoon breaks. A good cup of tea can be substituted.

Well cared for and applied punctuation. Abuse/neglect of those helpful little marks should be outlawed...

a little thing that makes me happy:

being only two feet away from the guy i have been admiring for the past year and a half, and having him smile at me, and having him as one of my friends on myspace, even if he doesn't know how i feel about him
