I'm surprised you pronounce it at all; given that, you would throw in an extra vowel, what with having lived in Japan and all.

^_^ Well, it's not a normal sound in Dutch either. Both the -d- and -g- are hard sounds, so it isn't that odd to throw in an extra letter to soften it a bit

Well, if this song is over, I'll go to bed. Really. I mean it. Honestly.

I think what you mean, O Good Sane, is that you have the best of luck finding crazy drivers. If you had the worst luck finding them, you wouldn't be meeting any.

Bad drivers don't necessarily = bad luck in this case

Got back from camp yesterday.
So. freaking. tired.
I had 8th grade girls, which everyone usually dreads, but they were awesome and there were 3 other staff and a chaperone, so it was good. Except that we had the dirtiest cabin in the whole camp. No matter how much we swept, there was still dirt. My "session" (Games) went well except when the freaking 4th graders got too competative. And when one staff decided he was too "sick" to do the last session.
But it was fun.
One of the staff in my cabin, Kim, randomly put a staple gun to my head in the middle of the night, covered my mouth and said, " I have a staple gun. Give me all your candy." It was so hilarious!

I love camp. There's nothing better!

Not that there's any need to go into tons and tons of camp stories (which I have).

*Goes off into a corner with tea and fondly reminisces about camp*

Here's a review I wrote for it:

Words really dont do justice to this movie, and the lack of dialogue bespeaks this. This movie's mode of communication is emotion, and there are volumes of it alive here. WALL*E is one of the most touching movies I have ever seen, and I will watch it again and again. If you've ever experienced a powerful emotion like love, then this movie will not only pull on your heart, but squeeze it as well. The views this movie takes on social and political issues is also astounding. Go see this movie, it will truly make this a summer to remember.
Lol! You make it sound truly tempting . My family and I were a bit put off by the fact that we saw no communication in the previews, but if it's done through emotion . . . that's interesting. Hmm .

We've been doing a lot of movies this summer too, mostly DVDs, but occasionally the odd theater movie too. We saw "Get Smart" (HILARIOUS ), and we're going to see "Batman 2."

No. Maybe I'll watch them from the wall of my house. My parents work so much that they like to just relax when holidays come around. I still live with my parents. Relaxation rather than doing anything in particular beyond little fun household activities (or inactivities) makes the holiday great to them.

As for the rest of us, we have a lot more time on our hands most of the time than our parents do. So it makes sense that they should enjoy the break .

And I don't think fireworks are allowed in this area, outside of very tightly controlled locations .
