Yay! Ok, now a question.

Which character has had a broken skull and who was responsible for it?

aaah... can't remember a single cracked skull really!

Would noses be counted as part of skulls... then I could name dozens... Moody, Neville, Hermione to start with...

Maybe, if you're really being tricksy, then its Quirrell, and Lord Voldy is responsible!

Nope, it wasn't any of those people. I'll give you one hint: the skull breaking was deliberate on the part of the perpetrator.

does a statue count as a character? then maybe one of the statues in OotP when Dumbly animated all those statues in the Ministry.

Nobody's got it yet. Another hint: it was done with a beater's bat.

maybe... it was the Irish beater who hit Krum in the face with a bludger... can't remember if he cracked the skull, though

Wasn't it Cormac Mclaggen (no idea how to spell his name) breaking Harry's skull? I remembered that as soon as I heard it was done with a beaters bat. That part was kind of funny, but sad that Harry has to fall off his broom again.
