I'm not sure if this is what you mean by what he would prepare for them but I think it's something like he'll throw them into holes filled with snakes. That's the only thing I can think of!

well, he says he will prepare something particularly uncomfortable for them. (Slash them! Beat them! Bite them! Gnash them!....then comes the the daek holes full of snakes!)

Ok....Describe the sound that Smaug made. Not when he was talking, but his "dragon" noise.

Well....It's described in a more colorful manner, I'm thinking of the first time Bilbo sees Smaug. I don't think the word "monotonous" is used for this initial sleeping dragon sound description.

That's probably another description from the one I'm looking at. Mine is the first time Bilbo sees Smuag.

"A sound, too, began to throb in his ears, a sort of bubbling like the noise of a large pot galloping on the fire, mixed with a rumble as of a gigantic tom-cat purring."

I like that! So now what?

You took the second time Bilbo saw the dragon. I took the first time, when he just took the goblet out to the dwrves.

I don't know what we shall do.

Well, it will probably make me hungry....roast them slowly, or mince them fine and boil them, or sit on them and squash them into jelly. (this is a new cooking technique!)

Somehow I doubt he will. After all, you did give the correct answer.
