Hehe, Ellysa did notice the protectiveness of others (though probably not to ir's full extent)

A seer? How interesting!
By the by, I meant nothing in particular with Ellysa's fascination with 'the man on the left' who could have been any of those three men really. Maybe I'll do something with it, maybe I'll let it go as a mistake.

I do admit, the seer is there partly because I hoped Ellysa might be interested in seeing someone comfortable with- Ã*nd respected for her visions. But what Ellysa decides to do with it is entirely up to you, of course. Teye will have a use somewhere down the line either way.
Whatever fascinates Ellysa about the man on the left is also entirely up to you, although if you decide on something that will have a bearing on the plot-line, drop me a PM, if you please.

Of course. Maybe I should determine which man was standing left in the first place

Very interesting!
Tabrîl's still interpreting everything through her own cultural framework - Ellysa might want to think twice before mentioning her visions to her. Hopefully the Khan won't be too offended about being overlooked in favor of his advisor.

Tabrîl always manages to do what I don't expect. But I'm sure the Khan is pretty used to having his Seer draw all the attention, and whatever honour is addressed to her can only add more to his own standing, since Teye is from his tribe.

I'm sure walking away would have been seen as more offending, so Tabril made the best move there

This seer knows that the Kindi people belongs in the Great Forest? Or she sees it, perhaps?

Walking away - not necessarily offensive from Tabril's perspective, not if done out of respect. Better that than have the warriors she thinks are protecting the seer think she's a threat. She opted for the diplomatic route, though.

Other possibilities are that Radagast simply mentioned he had people travelling with him that came from Greenwood, Teye deduced Tabrîl to live in the forest from her clothes or attire, or Teye sensed the link the Forest used to tie Tabrîl to Haldis. I haven't decided which explanation I will go with.

Any one of those explanations could make perfect sense.

That depends on what definition of 'diplomatic' we use.
Tabrîl doesn't want to be disrespectful to someone as important as Teye. The Sight is rare and very highly regarded in Kindi culture.

Given an extensive knowledge of her culture - yes, probably
None of us have that - not even Baru Edit: I guess not only the characters, but the writers as well

*snort* It would probably be quite a shock to Tabril to find out that the silly little girl she's been protecting isn't as insignificant as she might think
Sometimes Tabril can be quite predictable though.

Redplate does. She told him about it in the whole Dol Guldor, or however it is that you spell it.

I'm going to have to look, but I think Aelfwine does.

I was sure Tabrîl was going to bolt as soon as the Seer was mentioned, something like "Aaah, mysteries, I'm a warrior, I can't listen to this!" and woosh, she does a runner. So, I reckon she isn't all that predictable.
I thought a good deal of the people who were at Dol Guldur know. But I reckon at the time Tabrîl didn't concern herself with the rest much yet, so she may not have known.

Well, Nami, Aelfwine, Ingwe, Amael, Quickleaf, Radagast, Haldis and Sas (can't remember the name of his character), know about it for sure.
