I just got the car doors open. They were frozen shut this morning and I barely was able to get my own car door open (one refused to) in time to take the mail to the post office.

I had a friend that was stuck outside his car due to a frozen lock, with no resources to relieve the situation.....he relieved himself 'ahem' into the lock...thus thawing it out enough to turn the key....it was sooo cold his, uhh, bodily fluid waste was frozen to the side of the car when he arrived home....told us he spilled a mountain dew on the car but it was too suspicious and we got the truth from him......

Aren't you glad I shared this with you?

....sigh....I could have done without that.

Actually I had de-icer which worked on the glass but I didn't want to spray it into the lock for fear of really lousing things up. Then too on the one car, all four doors were actually unlocked, I just couldn't pull them open-they were that frozen shut.

Yep, it was that.

We're in farm/horse country and most of them were not visible in the early morning today. Ever hear of "horse sense".

Yep, that I have. I utilize it daily!

Ah, its fun to ride in the snow though. For the both of us. Just have to tack them up right and bundle up. I like passing people who get stuck then giving them a lift, specially those on motorcycles.

More fun when in a sleigh!

Vent: Snow and sleighs aside, my voice is comming back, but sounds like shnit! And hurts!

now, thats true, i've never seen a horse frozen up, and you wouldn't need to scrape the windows either, of course you'd probably freeze to death here, because with 30 mph winds we have the wind chill factor around 20 below fahrinite. but other than that it would be great, you'd save a lot on gas.

True. But fortunatly its not THAT cold over here. You'd have to be bannanas to live where ever you are that has that kinda weather. Sheer Fruitloops to live in a place that cold!

On the plus side, the summers are truely beautiful here, so it balances out.

Yep, we now have four seasons. When we lived in Arizona there were basically two seasons; hot and damned hot.

I'm hungry too know, its the teacup that does it. Yeah, spring and summer are my favorites here, and they end too quickly for my taste. Then comes the hellacious winter, which i have grown fond of.

here in Norway we have four seasons. But the winter has become more like early spring, or autumn. It's kind of sad, beacuse I think winter and summer is the best seasons. Autumn is nice, but sometimes I feel it's just holding up winter...

Yeah, I've read about that. Scary, if you ask me. Then there will be no summer, and I'd rather have lousy winter, but winter still, than endless winter and no summer.
