First Christmas party tonight! Good haul this year: I got a stand mixer, an iPod touch, wool socks, and some movies! Yay for an awesome family!
I got my brother the soundtrack to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I didn't know it, but apparently he plays the game to a certain point every night and then listens to the background music to fall asleep to every night. Needless to say, he liked it. Merry Christmas everyone!

That's cute.
I know what I'm getting for Christmas because I went out and bought it. -_- I asked my parents to replace my retainer for Christmas, because it was something practical that I need, and then the other day at the last minute they were like, "No we're going to get you something else for Christmas." But they didn't want to go shopping at this time of year... so I just went out and bought myself two CD's today and wrapped 'em then stuck 'em under the tree. Tomorrow I'm going to go buy myself an electronic tuner (for my guitar and violin) and possibly one other tiny little thing... maybe some sheet music? They wanted to just give me cash, but I told them I'd rather have something meaningful. I'm not sure buying my own meaningful gift quite counts, but close enough. The real surprise on Christmas morning will be when my parents see what they bought me. |

I've boycotted Christmas presents this year. My mother wants me to buy myself a CD and pay for it with her card, and I just keep telling her, "I'm still deciding which CD I want." Dancing circles around your nearest and dearest; it's the most wonderful time of the year!

I tried to convince people that unless we were going to do meaningful gifts we should just skip gifts this year, but no one listened to me. >.< I only named the retainer in the first place because they insisted I pick something... but apparently that wasn't good enough either.

"And we're back on M.O.O.T. with a special guest appearance of Midge & the Doodlers playing this classic american song..."
Yankee Doodle went to town A-riding on a pony Stuck a feather in his hat And called it macaroni. Yankee Doodle, keep it up Yankee Doodle dandy Mind the music and the step And with the girls be handy. Father and I went down to camp Along with Captain Gooding And there we saw the men and boys As thick as hasty pudding. Yankee Doodle, keep it up Yankee Doodle dandy Mind the music and the step And with the girls be handy There was Captain Washington Upon a slapping stallion A-giving orders to his men I guess there was a million. That's what we did this year. And I'm pretty sure last year as well. My sister isn't home anyway.

After making pies last night, I got flour on my computer mouse. *sadness* It feels weird in my hand now.
*sighs, then throws flour all over the stupid rule* *and again, for 18 more seconds*

You mean Fantasia? The first or the second one? I liked the first one a hundred times better, but there are a few nice pieces in the second one as well

The first one was a lot better, if only because there was less talking in it all.

I didn't much like the Mickey Mouse thing though. It's in both of the films...
