Elven Warrior eh? You prolific poster you!

The answer is not the Dead although it pretty much fits that lame riddle I composed. Good guess though! I will give you honorable mention for it

Yes Radagast, it is a LOTR riddle. In fact, if you read this before anyone else you ought to be able to answer it. Here follow the final lines which I wrote for your clue...

We were eagerly awaited and long looked for.
When we arrived we were answered and sent out the door.
Our numbers were many, we caused quite a fuss,
and we overwhelmed all who were dealing with us.
Hobbiton was blocked, Bywater snowed under.
and Bilbo the cause of all of our thunder.

Good luck!

Another riddle...

Who were they?
We were all special, self-important, and more.
Our numbers were equal to One Forty Four.
All gathered together beneath a great tree,
we witnessed something that we could not see.

The hobbits at Bilbo's eleventy-first birthday party?

I will give it to you but more specifically I was thinking of those hobbits that were specially invited to the main tent that Bilbo semi-insultingly referred to as "One Gross".

Another riddle for y'all to muddle over...

Recall the episode:

Clear voices in the starlit air,
from the House of Finrod fair.
Did render aid as if by chance
through joy of song and keen-eyed glance.
The shadow of fear that had been looming
went slinking back into the gloaming.
And grateful travelers bid their greeting
As their enemy was retreating.
They would not fall under shadow’s yoke
befriended now by Finrod’s folk.
Wearily, and about to fall
they safely sought the Elves’ Wood Hall.

Ah, this is right up my alley. This is when Frodo and the Hobbits met Gildor Inglorion as they were leaving the Shire. The wondering company approached and scared off the Black Rider.

I'm not good with the riddles, but here's an easy one.

Upon my golden head I wear
A crown of silver, and I'm fair.
I have no wife, I have no child
I often wonder in the wild

I gave my life for a mortal one
I swore an oath that this be done
I faught a dark lord in songs of power
But lost and wolves came to devour

I had you in mind when I created that riddle SGH. I've been around here long enough to know where your heart lies. Anyway, that one was for you in thanks of the help you rendered to me recently. You are of course quite correct with your answer.

Wonderful riddle up there SGH. I just can't imagine who you are thinking of though? lol

a riddle:

Rescued from an evil man
I carried my load across the land.
Helping those who saved my hide,
I'd even give my back to ride.
