I'm a 'ms.' now? You never call me 'Ms. Maggie', what'd I do?

I didn't spaz, but the dance was amusing at best and lame at worst. We didn't stay long. Unfortunately it was a longish drive... nearly an hour of having my eardrums blasted Backstreet Boys... And here I thought I had escaped that when I got out of middle school.

Yar. Now I want to dance to something good.

*Puts on a 'Little Shop of Horrors' album and drags Sane into a dance*

That's better.

What a wonderful day! Doesn't one just love how gravity travels at the speed of light, that for a person falling into an Event Horizon experiences time as a matter of days, while the distant observer sees the victim's fall to take an infinite amount of time, the way certain subatomic particles have to rotate 700 something degrees to go back into their original position, as opposed to our human macroworld, that the life of the universe could be described as the "cosmic watermelon," that people are sometimes stupid enough to think time is intelligent, that during the so-called Planck era (10^-43 seconds after the Big Bang--A lovely name! Beautiful! Like Bellatrix or the Overwhelmingly Large Telescope) the universe went through a phase of rapid expansion, that the smallest possible particle could be one 100 billion billionth the size of an atomic nucleus, that ellipses have two centers, that there are five Langarian points, that space is in fact not nothingness as nothingness exists outside the universe only, that outside the universe is not a place and has no time and words like "place" and "there" are rendered useless just as the word useless can no longer be of any meaning just as meaning itself can't exist just as existence itself is impossible, that antimatter wipes out matter, and so on...

*groans* My back hurts. That's what spending one hour at the doctor does to me. Feeling like a tractor went trough my back.

But anyway, I can't really complain. At the age of 12, my spine looked in the X-ray just like a letter S. It became quite decent, all thakns to him. Now I only have to visit him every two months or so, to maintain this.

*lies down groaning* oh, vanilla soy milk? *sips some with a straw*

here comes a funny song.

Oh, I'm a nazgul, and I'm okay,
I sleep all night and I work all day.

CHORUS: He's a nazgul, and he's okay,
He sleeps all night and he works all day.

I cut down trees, I eat my lunch,
I go to the lavatory.
On Wednesdays I go shoppin'
And have buttered scones for tea.

Orcs: He cuts down trees, he eats his lunch,
He goes to the lavatory.
On Wednesdays he goes shoppin'
And has buttered scones for tea.

I cut down trees, I skip and jump,
I like to press wild flowers.
I put on women's clothing,
And hang around in bars.

Orcs: He cuts down trees, he skips and jumps,
He likes to press wild flowers.
He puts on women's clothing
And hangs around.... In bars???????

I chop down trees, I wear high heels,
Suspenders and a bra.
I wish I'd been a girlie
Just like my dear papa.

Orcs: He cuts down trees, he wears high heels
Suspenders and a .... a Bra????
(Orcs break off song, and begin insulting The nazgul)

Sauron: (crying) I thought you were so rugged!

New words for 2006...

1. BLAMESTORMING : Sitting around in a group, discussing why a Deadline was missed or a project failed, and who was responsible.

2. SEAGULL MANAGER: A manager who flies in, makes a lot of noise, craps on everything, and then leaves.

3. ASSMOSIS : The process by which some people seem to absorb success and advancement by kissing up to the boss rather than working hard.

4. SALMON DAY: The experience of spending an entire day swimming upstream only to get screwed and die in the end.

5. CUBE FARM: An office filled with cubicles.

6. PRAIRIE DOGGING: When someone yells or drops something loudly in a cube farm, and people's heads pop up over the walls to see what's going on.

7. MOUSE POTATO: The on-line, wired generation's answer to the couch potato.

8. SITCOMs : Single Income, Two Children, Oppressive Mortgage. What Yuppies turn into when they have children and one of them stops working to stay home with the kids.

9. STRESS PUPPY: A person who seems to thrive on being stressed out and whiny.

10. SWIPEOUT: An ATM or credit card that has been rendered useless because the magnetic strip is worn away from extensive use.

11. XEROX SUBSIDY: Euphemism for swiping free photocopies from one's workplace.

12. IRRITAINMENT : Entertainment and media spectacles that are Annoying but you find yourself unable to stop watching them. The J-Lo and Ben wedding (or not) was a prime example - Michael Jackson, another.

13. PERCUSSIVE MAINTENANCE: The fine art of whacking the crap out of an electronic device to get it to work again.

14. ADMINISPHERE : The rarefied organizational layers beginning just above the rank and file. Decisions that fall from the adminisphere are often profoundly inappropriate or irrelevant to the problems they were designed to solve.

15. 404 : Someone who's clueless. >From the World Wide Web error Message "404 Not Found," meaning that the requested document could not be located.

16. GENERICA : Features of the American landscape that are exactly the same no matter where one is, such as fast food joints, strip malls, and subdivisions.

17. OHNOSECOND : That minuscule fraction of time in which you realize that you've just made a BIG mistake. (Like after hitting send on an email by mistake).

18. WOOFS : Well-Off Older Folks.

19. CROP DUSTING: Surreptitiously passing gas while walking through a Cube Farm.

Boy, I could go for a nice cup of coffee or even a Latte.

I bought some Dunkin Donuts coffee last weekend while in North Carolina and it is really nice.

Now if I can entice Lotesse to join me, we can breathe together.

SERENITY NOW!
