Traverse

Gee R. I'd have thought you'd have a dictionary.

It means to pass, move over or through. ... to go along etc.

Well its nice to know I wasn't missed!

'Seven hours for the leaders but some ten hours for all'. If this is the passage you're looking for Spock, wasn't it Éomer who estimated the time (although I guess as Théoden was King, he must have 'allowed' Éomer's estimate)? If this is not the passage you're looking for, doh!

Good go. Yes your reasoning is flawless, as usual and your answer is proper.

Go to it.

"Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends."

"Very well,' he answered aloud, lowering his sword. 'But still I am afraid. And yet, as you see, I will not touch the creature. For now that I see him, I do pity him."

Who gave the keys of Orthanc to Aragorn after Saruman had left?

Hello! I just got here!

I believe Quickbeam was the one who HANDED the keys to Aragorn, but was instructed to do so by Treebeard.

At the Bridge Inn by the Brandywine, but the Inn had been pulled down so they slept in the 'dismal' building that had been built in its place.
