Congragulations Indeed!!!
About the Smaugettes... We could have both the Smaugettes and Smaug if we wanted to. The Smaugettes are just too much fun to leave out though.

I would LOVE to keep the Smaugettes...the image of eight skanky girls in fishnets and sparkle skirts confronting poor Bilbo still makes me laugh...(God, when I remember the look on Taylor's face....)

As you can see, I don't hang out here muchly anymore. There's a good reason for this. Y'see, I've been hanging out at a different chatboard called Cardboardia. So far, I've been havin' a blast. Not that I don't love the TLA, but the magic of Entmoot is lost on me. So, as soon as TLA ends, so will my existance here, probably. Who knows though? I might stay. Highly unlikely however. This is a good bye in advance, then. Unless you want to join me and my group of friends at Cardboardia. Cheers! |

Ah. The Smaugettes. *coughs importantly*
Well, they really came about when the eight of us girls in the Hobbit who were playing Smaug got together to figure out what we were going to do to depict a large dragon on stage. We ended up with a puppet head, tail, wings and claws (I was the left wing! How special), but for our costumes, Mary (our costumer and also a Smaugette) wanted to dress us skankily in fishnets and sparkly skirts, in red and black. Yeah, baby. I think it was Willow who actually came up with the name "Smaugettes." -tano

It was. And we did end up wearing the fishnets sequined red and black wrap arounds and tight black and red tops while manipulating the smaug puppet. Playing the dragon as a sexy female is really fun.
