The spelling is "counsel" for what someone gives, or demonstrates, in this case. Obviously, I'll take it, especially from a non-native English speaker. BTW, "council" is the body of people. Many mix those up.

I wasn't sure about the spelling, whether it would be with a c or an s, so I was prepared to submit the other as my next guess if you had just not accepted the word - I wouldn't have offered two new letters there. You saved us time by taking it, though.

Shortly after posting that, I was reminded of another definition of "counsel" - it CAN be a person (maybe people), but usually when referring to an attorney. For example, "special counsel"... English must be pretty confusing!
