I agree. Nice view. Looks like the view from the summit of Mt. San Jacinto, you know, by the Palm Springs Tram.

Pretty. That rock face reminds me of a scenic road a couple minutes from my place.

Koniciwa. (yes I know my spelling on this one is terrible) Is that anywhere Yoshino or Kanazawa? I'd be interesed in the area it was taken as not much is shown in the photo which is excellent of yourself

Konnichiwa.^^ I don`t know where Yoshino or Kanazawa are but not that I know of. Shirahama is in the southern part of Wakayama-ken. Here`s a map- http://www2.gol.com/users/jolsen/ons...kayama-ann.gif The town I`m in now is on there too- 岩出町 This picture was taken near that rock thing out on the water in the arch shape. Just type in Shirahama in google image search and you could see it. Maybe I should`ve posted the whole picture...
And thank you for the compliments. ^_^ |

Thanks. Yoshino is South of Kyoto while Kananzawa is NW ( I think) of Nagano, in the mountains.
Domo. Shirahama is, as its name promises, a "white sand beach", just outside of Shimoda. One of Izu's most famous and popular sand beaches, it also offers good surfing conditions. Just next to the beach stands Shirahama Shrine.

You don't need to post a picture in the thread, just give a link. Go to photobucket. There you can upload photos. Check out Shah's posts #402 and 404.
