I seen Big fish & the Last Samuari,
Big fish was good, Ewan was great [as usual] But the last samurai was too long. the history of the samurai and fighting was good, but I dont like Tom Cruise.

If anyone goes to see "Van Helsing" I will shoot them in memory of our beloved production of Dracula.

Are you refering Bram Stoker's Dracula (an excellent movie, that one)? Or is it Dracula 2001?

Well, I'm going to see VH anyway. (hehe)

Brother Bear (hey, I'm a dad!) Yogi Bear on peyote

Coming up: Lost in Translation

Still waiting for the right day: Once were Warriors.

Funny, Janny...

VH looks entertaining but my expextations will not be very high for content.

KB v.II will have to wait for DVD. meh....

Thankaly Dank.
You should enjoy Lost in Translation Ithought that was excellent.
I've just seen Training Day. I wasn't really paying attention... didn't inspire me. Though it's not a movie, I was forced to watch an episode of 'The Shield'. The pilot episode. Gosh, how stupid.

Okay, I have seen Lost in Translation, & didnt think much of it, except that Tokyo people are quite amusing...
And I didnt really like Master in Commander either, Im not much of a fan for Russel Crowe.
I just seen Adaptation, with Nicholas Cage, & I thought it was okay, But I wouldn't buy it.

"The Mission," starring Robert de Niro and Jeremy Irons.

Its really really really good. And terribly sad--that kind of stuff actually happened.

And the music.....wow.

It's Van Helsing, the bloody new movie. Do you know what? My friends, who I thought would find it sacriligious as well, are dragging be to see it. BLEAH!

I'm reading Dracula, does that count?

Heh, sawed-off shotgun. I know a person who wants to be an old crazy lady with too many cats who sits on her front porch with a sawed-off shotgun.

Anyway, that's off topic.

Just saw it this weekend. I was a bit underwhelmed, though being forty something and having only vague recollections of romantic love, I could relate to it on some level.

You lot are a bunch of heathens. Especially you Gimli. How could you possibly not think much of Lost in Translation, and then admit to liking League of Extraordinary Gentlemen?? *points accusing finger*

Hey, It thought LoEG was horrible.

LiT was very good at portraying how boring it can be to get stuck in a rut. Very, very boring. I thought it was probably autobiographical, Sophia hooking up with one of daddy's famous friends. The travelogue of Tokyo was fun. I didn't dislike it but I wasn't sure it was up to the hype. The fling with the lounge singer was hilarious, and the kiss was sweet. Wasn't Bill M. just a little too old, even with the plastic surgery?
