Give it time, it always works out one way or another

And no, Denmark took our spot

Ah, sorry to hear that. Aren't they out of the game now? I think I remember my father saying something about Dutchland and 1 other country advancing, but I don't think he mentioned Denmark.

"And we're back on M.O.O.T. with Stewie Wonder tune played by the Moots, slightly changed and dedicated to the Moot..."

You are the forum of my life
That's why I'll always be around
You are the apple of my eye
Forever you'll stay in my heart

I feel like this is the beginning
'though I've loved you for a million years
And if I thought our love was ending
I'd find myself drowning in my own tears
Whoa whoa

You are the forum of my life
That's why I'll always stay around
You are the apple of my eye
Forever you'll stay in my heart

You must have known that I was lonely
Because you came to my rescue
And I know that this must be heaven
How could so much love be inside of you

They're useful creatures, though. I'll take ants over mosquitoes any time. I know the location of at least four nests in the garden and there's probably as many more. But as long as they keep out of the house, we get along.

Oooooooh, the other day Tai Chi was quite cool because I figured out (somewhat) how to breath into the pain so that I was able to hold the pose for longer. When you breath right, it's like the pain fades in and out rather than being an unbearable constant. Good times. My legs are also getting stronger, which I'm sure helps.

Do they make you hold poses for a long time? My instructor only made us hold poses if she was showing us properly how to do them (it was like she didn't even realize it was hard for us to stay in the pose while she corrected our form...).

I've actually been doing a lot of stretching (I'll be able to touch my toes yet!), staying in different (often similar to or the same as yoga) poses for 5 minutes at a time. It's kind of fun. Not hard to hold poses though.

I think this is one of my new favorite songs. It's [more ridiculous emphasizing] GREAT [/ridiculous emphasizing]! I like Jewel, and now that I know more about her, I do not feel that my husband needs to be any kind of ashamed for liking her music. I kind of got the feeling he was opposed to broadcasting the event when he ordered a couple of CDs of hers.

I finished my Kierkegaard class today! Plus, there was a 5.0 earthquake in the middle of my class presentation. This calls for a celebratory cuppa.

I miss earthquakes (even though they freaked me out). We had a tornado warning but no tornadoes, as far as I know.

Ouch.

That Austrian song is not bad though, Nightwish influences per any chance? It's more in line with the famous Finnish Melancholy that your countrymen are said to harbour inside

Whoa, what the heck happened to her voice? O_o I remember it used to be so powerful, at least in the songs that I heard. Now she's singing with a baby voice... I wonder if she had some vocal trouble, or if it's just a new thing for her . She's certainly gorgeous though.

Personally if I'm going to listen to country it's someone with a strong voice, like Reba, or old-style Jewel. Reba's awesome, and I'm not really even a country fan... I usually don't care for it. Old-school Jewel was cool though . I love some of her old stuff.

So they are and they can have the garden, just not the terrace.

I think she's lately gone more country. I know in the past couple of years she's been on CMT or GMC or whatever those TV stations are. Maybe I like this stuff because it's easy for me to sing. It's more fun to sing (for fun, anyway) when you like what you hear coming out of your mouth.

Turns out that my husband doesn't like country music. He came home last night and said, "I don't really like that song. It's too country for me."

Hello, everyone! What's new? I can't remember if it was before school let out that I was last here. Anyway, I'm back. And we're still on the same Teacup.

*sigh* Just spent $70 on a pair of shoes to wear for Tai Chi... my regular shoes are just tennis shoes, so they have the extra 'heel' height, and the toe curls up slightly... so when I'm trying to do the Tai Chi, it makes me overbalance backwards when I'm standing up 'straight'. So I had to get some flat-bottomed shoes.

They are SUPER comfy though. O_o Holy crap. Its like wrapping my feet in soft leather. Which, incidentally, is what the shoes are made out of .

Remember when you were tiny, had itty-bitty little feet, and shoes cost $15? $20, if you wanted a really cool pair. At least I know this pair will last me for years to come.

Stupid Tai Chi. Stupid Tai Chi for being so awesome that I'm actually willing to shell out $70 for a new pair of shoes . There was a $20 pair I could've gotten but they were so friggin' uncomfortable... There was no way I would've been able to stand wearing them for an hour and a half or longer.
