Actually, I'd rather cook for the group than watch the youngest two kids

Let's just say that we're having to teach them the meaning of 'no', because they haven't heard a lot of it before now from their parents (well,at least the kind of 'no' that actually MEANS 'no')

I made up 10 pounds of Sloppy Joe meat yesterday ...

(for non-USA people, that's basically ground beef mixed with a tomato-based sauce, then you pour it over open hamburger buns - sloppy, but yummy, and good for a group)

It's been quite an experience... *counts the hours until the plane lands*

Rian, I've never eaten a "sloppy joe" but it sounds... sloppy indeed.

I think I'll stick to food-a-la-Marit. The best mix of Japanese, Chinese, Dutch and Indonesian food you've ever eaten! Or the worst if it doesn't go as it is supposed to go

O, check this thread for an easy recipe. As it is written down it'll feed 4 to 6 people, but I think it is easy to increase the ingredients for up to many people. You just need tons of rice with it.
