We live in an apartment, and raggies are supposed to be good with apartments, ie not doin' that siamese yowling all the time.
We're doing mainly Austria & Germany (attending a wagner festival in austria), but we're also doing San Francisco and Hong Kong. It's gonna be an exciting trip! |

They're famous for going limp in your arms when you pick them up and they LOVE having their bellies rubbed:
There's a ragdoll rescue in the states; might be worth checking out when you're settled? |

Faerie child? Have you been browsing through the entire happy thread? Because that quote by Sam was posted almost a whole year ago

Damnit BoP, that kitten's absolutely gorgeous! A colourpoint ragdoll has been one of my favourite cat races ever.

I insisted on cooking lunch today, since my mom always makes strange, simi-nasty stuff (she loves it, but, blech) for holiday meals. So while they were all away at mass (I was at the vigil last night) I cooked up Caprica Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Garlic-butter Mushrooms, mixed veggies, and deviled eggs, and had it all piping hot on the table when they got home. Two solid hours of cooking.
They've seen me cook before, but to say that they were stunned would be an understatement . I'm sooooooooooooooooooooo happy. Everything came out fantastic. Now I'm going to go pass out. Yay full tummy! |

So yesteday was LEGENDARY!
I went Rock climbing! It was so cool! My friend and I went to this indoor rock climbing place. so we went up it was in the city. It was this crazy shady place down by the docks covered in tags. But inside it was so cool!
I learned how to belay (which I got REALLY good at ) and, among others, I climbed this wall that was an honest to goodness 100ft up! it was so awesome. Unfortunatly I don't really have the time/money to make it a regular thing but as a treat it rocked! |

Tessar, where did you start cooking?
And Myshkin, hello! I always thought it would be fun to do that sliding down part, but the actual climbing looks like work. |

I have to say,
The actual climbing was crazy hard. My forearms are SSSSOOOOOOO sore today! and my hands and my legs.... I'm in good shape but it was using strange muscles. I had a really good time coming down from the top of a wall, I just went limp as I came down( the wall was slanted up so I couldn't walk down backwards) and then I did my impression of me in an imaginary lay-z-boy.... then my friend stopped letting the rope out
lol I guess I was a little sure of myself. |

Rock climbing is CRAZY AWESOME . Not so much the going up thing, but the coming back down is sooooooo fun. I've only done it once, but it was killer good times. |

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best. Weekend. EVER! Ever. EVER!!!!!!!!!! My sister found a song I've been wanting for YEARS, and so now I can learn it, I got 24 italian songs for low voice, 50 selected songs by Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Wolf, and Strauss, the Vaccai vocal method for Baritone, a music stand, a CD of Schubert's vocal works, three hardcover books from halfprice, and today has been AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!! The music books were paid for by my dad, which was very sweet of him, and the books/CD were only about $30. So quite a steal considering that it's three huge hardcover books, and a CD. I usually dislike weekends in general, but today was KICKASS! Last edited by Tessar : 04-14-2007 at 06:43 PM. |

Sounds fabulous, Tessar.
I LOVE the happy thread.
We've been doing the hardcore door to door election stuff for a month, about, and the election's today. So right now I hate everyone and have an ulcer flare-up, lol. But...we'll know in just a few more hours, hopefully, so I have to put my party face on and wait for the returns. Do you prefer singing the italian? |
