Menelvagor: Something to do with Cirith Ungol and the light of galadriel?

Earniel: is it referring the the moria orcs, and the Uruk hai?

ok, this is not a riddle i made up, and Daughter of Elros, Menelvagor, and Lurien will recognize it, so they are not allowed to answer it! it is a non-Middle Earth riddle, and here goes:

I am a cylinder that contains flesh, blood and bone, yet I have no roof nor floor. What am I?

the phrasing is slightly different from the normal phrasing though. i think this is easy, in fact people should get it in at most 2 tries. it's kinda like relief from all the tantalizingly hard ones most people post.
