I seen Big fish & the Last Samuari,
Big fish was good, Ewan was great [as usual] But the last samurai was too long. the history of the samurai and fighting was good, but I dont like Tom Cruise. |

If anyone goes to see "Van Helsing" I will shoot them in memory of our beloved production of Dracula.

Thankaly Dank.
You should enjoy Lost in Translation Ithought that was excellent. I've just seen Training Day. I wasn't really paying attention... didn't inspire me. Though it's not a movie, I was forced to watch an episode of 'The Shield'. The pilot episode. Gosh, how stupid.

Okay, I have seen Lost in Translation, & didnt think much of it, except that Tokyo people are quite amusing...
And I didnt really like Master in Commander either, Im not much of a fan for Russel Crowe. I just seen Adaptation, with Nicholas Cage, & I thought it was okay, But I wouldn't buy it. |

"The Mission," starring Robert de Niro and Jeremy Irons.
Its really really really good. And terribly sad--that kind of stuff actually happened. And the music.....wow.

I'm reading Dracula, does that count? Heh, sawed-off shotgun. I know a person who wants to be an old crazy lady with too many cats who sits on her front porch with a sawed-off shotgun. Anyway, that's off topic.

LiT was very good at portraying how boring it can be to get stuck in a rut. Very, very boring. I thought it was probably autobiographical, Sophia hooking up with one of daddy's famous friends. The travelogue of Tokyo was fun. I didn't dislike it but I wasn't sure it was up to the hype. The fling with the lounge singer was hilarious, and the kiss was sweet. Wasn't Bill M. just a little too old, even with the plastic surgery?
