Anyways, back from Canadia! Though somewhat worse for wear, it was exhausting. I had been away too long and had forgotten what a pain family can be. But no worries, that trip reminded me.

No, solid ass kickers go straight through solid goof, if the right force is applied!

Heh, no kidding about the murder thing. I almost went nuts! But the milk and honey was correct. I went to some excellent chello kabobi's Iranian resutrants. On the north shore there is a huge Iranian community, so it almost felt like home. The food was friggen great!

Not quite the title of the book, though it does sound good. The strength of solid goof vs the strength of solid asskicker is a chapter title. It's a work in progress.

But yeah, the food was great, so all was not lost. How'd your weekend fair?

Er...pretty vicious weather over the weekend. Snowed a ton, but now it's all gone. I pretty much just sat at home, reading and listening to music. Got some good listening in too, esp. Beethoven's "Missa Solemnis".

Nice. It's cold. Not windy, not sunny, not really cloudy either. Just perfect middle. But so cold. No wind at all, just bone chilling cold.

I'd hate it when the wind picked up, cause christ on the crapper, it'll get so much colder and more chance of rain....Ehhh...Dont need that, my hands are suffering enough as it is.

Well the really great thing about last week's cold was that my car heater's blower went out on me

...it's just so awesome to have your hands frozen solid every morning, and struggle with a foggy window

...got to get it fixed.

I didn't think of that, since I didn't have to jumbstart my car at all...but maybe I could have used it to melt open my doors when they were frozen shut on two particular mornings...

The Middle Earth News Network Breaking News!

After a tense standoff at the Citadel of Mirkwood, home of the Elven King Thranduil, the stalemate between his forces and those of the Sith Master General Sane has been broken! The General's forces had been at the very gates of the Citadel, on the brink of a siege for approximately three days, neither side attacking, and neither side backing down.

The end of this standoff is the culmination of a thirteen day war between the forces of the Teacup Café’s armed forces known as “The Merry Banditos” lead by General Darth Sane, and the forces of the notoriously unfriendly King of Mirkwood, Thranduil. As of 7’o clock this morning, the peace treaty proposed by Darth Sane has been signed and ratified by all parties, the King of Mirkwood having ridden out of his citadel with his peace delegation to the signing tent set up on the field between the two armies.

Peace reigns once more, as the purpose of the treaty was to ensure amiable relations between the two great nations of Mirkwood and Entmoot, with bigotry on both sides being frowned upon and banned. We have received word from a reporter in the field that the Mirkwood side seems to be having the most trouble with this treaty, but are making valiant progress to bring their noses down a few notches, as required by the treaty.

This clause was added by Entmoot’s President, Hector Berlioz, as he reminded all parties that for that reason, this war was even declared. In our previous broadcast at the outbreak of this war, we reported that Mirkwood declared war when its diplomat walked Face First into a doorframe after insulting President Hector, resulting in the breaking of the diplomat’s nose. Said diplomat was at the peace table, his nose looking slightly bent, but on the mend.

King Thranduil has also pledged to have his son, Prince Legolas, be the new ambassador, claiming that his son “had more empathy, and understanding of mortals” than any of his current diplomats, though he asked for added protection from rabid fan girls, to be provided by General Sane. This was accepted by President Hector and General Sane, and the two sides shook hands and toasted this newly made peace, as celebrations resound throughout the Elven realm and echo back from the heart of Entmoot!

General Sane, President Hector and their proud alliance of Men, Women, Dwarves and Elves will ride back to the Teacup in a Victory Parade, to be toasted and have a great celebration. Those that also distinguished themselves in this first open war of Entmoot’s history are Field Commander Me9996 and the newly promoted Lieutenant General Jammi567, who shall be sent back to look after the troops and see that the trade routes remain open.
