with that I left to my room and sat down deep in thought. I then aroused my self and went to the stables. "Hello Namarie, how are you today? I trust that you are well, for we have a long ride before us." I mounted her and quickly left bree. My hand suddenly went to my breast, as if you be sure that it was there. it was, hanging on the chain about my neck. I felt its warmth and Namarie must have also felt it, because at that moment she went faster then ever before.

Cyrell felt the unease that had been stirring within him since he met Losi' lift. <Losillewen is gone,> Cyrell announced, knowing only Primrose, Fran, and Merry would hear him. <Where she is going, I do not know.> Cyrell wanted to tell Fran and Merry not to worry about being overheard -- but no. They would find out for themselves that their thought messages could no longer be eavesdropped upon, and Cyrell couldn't tell them without revealing what he'd done.

Primrose heard her grandfather's curses; well, she'd never heard him do THAT before! <Grandfather!> said Primrose. <Such language!>
