That book looks awesome! I especially liked the landscape photos, but that's just me. They all were really good.

thanks a lot! it was a lot of fun - not that many people, but the book shop is pretty small. they liked our presentation, and the photos were quite popular. mostly, it was a good experience and fun to talk about photography (although it's hard).

Well done Nerdanel, glad it was enjoyable!

Had an all-round good day myself - took my youngest (plus the dog) to Saltwell Park, which is my fave park. Very sunny, and we treated ourselves to cake at the cafe AND ice creams later. Then this afternoon I went rowing in Durham for a couple of hours - my first go on a single scull, and it was fun. A few blisters but worth it. Then on to meet the other half in a pub beer garden for a couple of pints before coming home.

Sat now with a glass of wine. All in all, a nice Sunday!

draken, that sounds like an awesome sunday.

tomorrow i'm going to norwich, england for 3 weeks. from tomorrow, i won't really be at home during the next 4 months. after england we're heading straight to morocco for an additional 3 weeks, then i'm going to the field station for the summer.

the migration has started.

WOOHOO!! Convinced my parents to move the cookies and chocolate out of the pantry, upstairs into their bedroom. They are the ones who want to have it, but when it's downstairs I compulsively snack on it. So now no more temptation!!! That makes meh happy. No more walking into the pantry and the first thing I see be a bag of chocolate or cookies.

See, if it were my pantry, they wouldn't be around long enough to tempt you.

Hey Sane - do you have time anytime soon to do the Runescape thing for my son? I'll PM you, too. He'll be on tomorrow for quite a while, I"m sure - he has a friend over.

HURRAY!! 90 on my last Marketing test. Now if I can just do well on that final, I'll have a B at the very least, more likely an A. Fingers crossed!!

Still waiting to find out about Accounting, which I'm fairly concerned about, but I'm praying that it comes out okay. Either way, -very- excited about and motivated by the good Marketing grade.

Whew - my house is a mess, but I just threw a wonderful Easter party for 23 peeps I love putting parties together, and then just watching as they unfold. The good ones are when you look around and there are little groups of people everywhere in great conversation - laughter floating on the air from here and there

I'm already thinking of hosting an Easter all-nighter next year, so as to toast the Easter dawn. It will depend on my living situation.

I have a new baby cousin! His name is Zaïro (at least, I think that's how you're supposed to write it) and apparently he looks a lot like his mother.

Finished Dragon Age 2.

I don't play many console games, and I'm very particular about those I do. This game was well worth it. I don't want to spoil the plot for anyone else, but it's more than interesting enough to make up for the small flaws in gameplay.

So yes. Completing the game makes me happy. Now for a second playthrough.

I have a new baby cousin PART II! Her name is Rebecca and I don't know anything else yet, just that she was born 2 hours ago. We were told when we walked into the room at my other cousin's to see baby PART I.

:

Yay!
