The idea of an insect monster reminds me of the book I'm currently reading.

Mari - I'm not hyper. I still have to go to the post office, and I really want to, because some of my books could have arrived. On the other hand, it would require me going out in the heat. On the other hand, I could get something to eat before work which would probably make me feel better.

The Huge Insect Alien-looking Monster is really benign. It just runs around showing its inner jaw for fun.
