Shaun of the Dead -- I loved it so much that I had to buy it.

The Incredibles -- The animation was very good, but other than that, I wasn't too impressed. I don't see how it got best animated picture of the year. I liked Shrek 2 much better.

Supersize Me -- A very interesting and entertaining documentary. I really liked it.

Haven't gotten around to seeing Ray yet, but I should be seeing National Treasure tomorrow night.

Oh, do see National Treasure!

I just saw Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Creative in it's cinematography. It had a couple of good one liners. Other than that I thought it was a dud. (Why is Jude Law in every movie I've seen for the past four years? Even if he's not acting in it. You just look down in the credits and he makes cupcakes or something... )

National Treasure -- An interesting concept nicely interwoven with American history. I liked it.

It's interesting that you should say this because next week I have the opportunity to see "Alfie" starring... guess who. I'm not convinced that I'm going though.

Gohatto! on BBC4
and they kept it in the original japanese, just with subtitling
i hate it when they dub the actors into english
japanese art-cinema is so interesting

I just saw Cellular this week, and I don't think it was bad, unrealistic at times, but overall, a pretty good movie.

Actually, I was quoting Chris Rock at the Oscars about Jude Law. I've only actually seen him... twice. Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow and A.I.. Both horrid roles. I'd like to see him play a good, deep role because I think he could do it.

Just saw Flight of the Pheonix- the OLD one. Attenborough was not so annoying. Stewart played an unlikable cuss. The only guys that were vaguely likeable were the German who made the machine fly and the Scottish fellow in the backround making jokes.

Also, The Courtship of Eddie's Father w/ a young and cute Ronny Howard. Rather good, actually.

And Broken Arrow with John Travolta and Christian Slater. All right. The Peacemaker is a far better movie in the same vein, though.

You should rent GATTACA. I really enjoyed him in that movie.

The King Author flick (name?): Excellent, I'll buy this one for the DVD library. Don't think some of it was accurate to legend, but the story line way cool and more interesting then the film starring Sean Connery (no reflection on Sean's coolness -actor, which is high..ahem).
As Millange pointed out, it's King Arthur. I don't know if it's better than First Knight... they were both inaccurate and eye-rolling. Excalibur and/or The Mists of Avalon would be much better investments IMO.

As for a good Jude Law movie... what about that one where he plays a sniper in World War II or something? What's that movie now... I really liked it when I saw it about 4 years ago.

I saw that some time ago. It's kind of funny, but not very good. The story is very weird.

Seen it, long time ago now. Pretty good, if I remember correctly.

Last movie I saw was...can't really remember. Shrek 2, possibly.

Yesterday I saw Serendipity with John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale.

About two people meeting accidently in NY and JC is getting married and KB is about to be proposed to and in the end JC and KB meet up again and marry. You're typical romantic comedy. Rate:

I went to cinema today, and saw Robots. Funny film, liked it alot. Not quite as good as Ice Age, but that was one of the best movies I've seen so. Very good, highly recommended if you like such movies.
