I'm glad to hear you guys enjoyed Almost Famous. I have a very fond and personal attachment to it (despite not even being of that generation), and it is indeed an inspiration to be relished.

Beauty and the Beast and Robin Hood (Disney).
I must say, they are my favorite animated movies of all time.

Just watched Matrix:Revolutions again, this time on DVD. Some parts still seem silly but the extensive fight scenes were not as oersaturating as watching in the theater so I enjoyed it more this time 'round. Still, some of the plot and dialog was extremely silly. The fight scenes were far more entertaining than the endless samurai sword fights in Kill Bill V.1. But why do the sentinels keep changing relative size? Very annoying.

I agree, the content was just a bit implausible and tasteless for me.
However, I have recently (not by choice) seen Scoobie Doo Two, fully aware of the terrible reviews received by it. I must confess, I did not hate this movie. That's possibly one of the hardest things I've had to say. It had its moments of cringe-worthy emotionalism and predicatble comedy, but I sensed almost that as a film it achieved its purpose. Was it rubbish? Yes. Was it predictable and stupid? Yes. Did I enjoy it? Sadly, yes. Maybe it helped I never saw the first film, but I did not want to shoot myself upon leaving the theatre, like with other films, even those which were critically acclaimed but quite rubbish coughmoulinrougecough...

Yes, good point!
Is 'Runaway Jury' a spin off of 'Runaway Bride'? And also, what is QT? Quentin Tarentino? I'm filmically illiterate...

I finally saw Kill Bill 2. Yeah, it was good, better than the first in a lot of ways, not so good in others.... Loved the bit where The Bride clawed her way out of the grave, and was crossing the road to the roadside grill, with that stream of dust coming behind her.... The end, the final confrontation, it was too long. I found my attention wandering a bit. Other than that, it was fun.
