Up-good? Where does it say this? Oh yay, I can see accents.

TRANS: I am happy, you are[isn't nar for pluaral subject only?] at home and you left(?) camp.
Would one need an ablative after camp? No idea.

EDIT:Upgood confusion........ ammaara is a combination of an and maara, but you can't have nm, so nasal infixion.

Isn't 'an' up?

I used 'nar' because I didn't want to confuse anyone... we use I am, you are, they are, he is... and so forth. I know it is not proper Quenya. I debated the use before I wrote it, I just didn't know how others would interpret it. Blame it on my exposure to the Atani.

mellë is the past tense of mel-, isn't it? No... melnë is allowed, so isn't it mellë, because the ln becomes ll?

Yes yes, melle is right... my stupidity. All verb roots ending in L follow this. Am- means upwards (from amba).

Yes, and I did love camp.

Definetely Quenya.
I started to learn Quenya with a book, (can't remember the name and author now..) I spent all my time revising and memorising and then I found that is was a very unreliable source after months and months of leaving the rest of my life behind to devote to the language!
I was really annoyed and havn't attempted to learn again since the same thingy happened so I don't really know a thing

I am sure you have been directed to Ardalambion.com already? Good for all of his languages.

I tried to learn elvish before. It didn't work out to well, though. I read in some magazine that in the university of Texas (It may have been someplace else) they have a class where you can learn orcish, elvish, and dwarvish. I'm not sure if that is really true, but it would be cool if it was.

Lenuva sina 're (aure) coanyanna laire-coanyallo. 'Noore-nooleo' naa Mondaysse.
What are the Elvish days of the week? I forget the assignments. I like using the Numenorean week, because it has 7 days.

I don't know if that's a hickey...

I have another question concerning Elvish. (Yes, yes I know, I keep bothering you people when you're trying to have a decent conversation. Sorry )

I came across a quote in which Legolas was called 'Thranduilion'. I take it the -ion part means as much as 'son of'. I was wondering what the form for 'daughter of' would be.

-iel was my first thought but it produces a rather strange effect when used on CelebrÃ*an for example: CelebrÃ*an Galadrieliel. Is this normal Elvish or is this just me who finds it rather odd?
