Well, your role is currently occupied by myself, and I fought damn hard for it at the beginning, so I ain't just about to hand it over. If everyone is still in the same frame of mind as when this started they aren't going to like two wizards being around. But I say to hell with that, and it's about damn time you showed up. *a hooded figure which was last seen at the banquet in Lake Town appears from out of the shadows* Figure: It can't be! Elf Girl: Huh? Figure: It's you! Elf Girl: Um..... Figure: You're finally here!!! Elf Girl: Do I know you? Figure: NO! But I know a lot about you, Gandgirl the Neon Green! For months have I suffered to carry the burden you so blatantly left behind! Elf Girl: yeah, I was caught up with Neopets. Sorry. Figure: It may take awhile for me to accept that apology, but nonetheless, YOU'RE BACK!!! *hugs Elf Girl* Elf Girl: Okay, this is getting creepy. Sarah: Wait, that looks a lot like Zand.... Tano: But remember, it can't be. he doesn't have any aspirine! *the figure looks towards Tano and Sarah and a low growling sound is heard coming from him* Figure: You two again. I thought for sure that the Smaugettes would've disposed of you by now but I guess even the Smaugettes aren't that good. You just won't die, will you? Tano: Nope. Sarah: Sorry. Elf Girl: You tried to kill them?!? Figure: Well....not directly. And trust me, I'd kill myself before I'd kill them. Elf girl: That's...nice. Figure: Not really. It's just that no matter what i do, they always find a way to make things worse for me. *Figure begins to shake with anger, is seen popping an aspirine* *Sarah begins to try to make the connection......hooded figure.....red wine at banquet......long staff........violent and angry.....aspirine...* Sarah: *gasp* It's Zandalf! Zandalf: Yes, it's me. And I would've gotten away with it too if it hadn't been for you meddling kids! *silence* Tano: Yeah, that's him.

Elf Girl: You'll need a live one and in prime condition! Sarah: You just love making this harder for us, don't you? Elf Girl: No, but this is a P-13 RPG and I really don't want any trouble with the RSPCA. *just then the full moon breaks through the clouds and lights the mountain wall....*

Random Penguin: Mier! Miermiermiermier! Mimimier! MIER! Elf Girl: Fine, I'll take it back.... *By then it is midnight. And suddenly, once again, the moon breaks to the clouds again. The light hits the mountainwall and faint urple lines light up and cast an eerie light on the company that has gathered before the mountainwall. The TLA stand in awe as the lines begin to form an intricate pattern on the wall......* OOC: We can spend a little more time fussing over the lines on the wall that mark the location of the door before we actually use a thrush or penguin or whatever to open the door. We need Claenoic to go down when the door opens and she won't be back until new year. This way we can keep the RPG going without having to sit down and do nothing until she gets back.

Acacia: *looks at the door* So this is it. The "secret door" is just a big mess of scrawly black lines. I thought the dwarves were good caftsmen!!!
Sarah: Look at the intricate patterns... the slightly shimery quality of the lines as they spread over the surface... Acacia: I'ts black. It looks like ink. Sarah: It's a very rare for of ithilden... Acacia: No, it's tarnished. Or it's cheap quality. Either way, it sucks! Gandgirl: Hey, you wanted a door!!! Acacia: oh please... and I thought it was supposed to be intricate... this looks like something my little sister could have drawn... Tano: Actually, I can see a few patterns here... I think i can make out the words "Mountain"... and "Lord"... and what is THAT?! Acacia: Honestly, these dwarves aren't all they're made out to be. i wouldn't be surprised if the door didn't even open. Gandgirl: Of course it will, when you use the key! Acacia: Sure... the key'll probably bend... or maybe the penguin made the wrong stretch of wall the door. Did you ever think of that?! Maggie: Why are you complaining so much today? At least we get to sit and eat before going to meet the Dragon... Acacia: But I'm BORED!!! Maggie: ... Acacia: And I was anticipating some breathtaking art or fantastic caligraphy, and all we get is a mess of black lines. Gandgirl: *mutters* They're always the same... ((OOC: I'm away from tomorrow until the 20th of january... dont finish without me!!! And make sure you keep me and my evil twin fully a part of it, or we'll be after you with our knives...))

So you've finally managed to escape from them as well. Elf Girl: Well, I don't know what's so bloody hard about it. I mean you just say bye and they're too stupid to follow.... Zandalf: If only it was that easy.... Well at least you haven't had any trouble with deaf pe... *Zandalf suddenly stops, the slightly opaque wizard pales, his eyes start bulging as he stares at something that is just entering the bar. Gandgirl turns around to see what has given him such a scare. In the open door stands a penguin, around it neck hangs a little sign that says 'deaf'. It is obviously looking for something. Or someone. It has a very determined air about it and in it's eyes dance little manical lights. * OOC: Sorry, I just couldn't let it pass.....

(Meanwhile back on the mountain the TLAers are still arguing about how to open the door.) Allie: This is ridiculous! The moon is passed and what have we got? A bunch of scribbles and a penguin! Now we'll never get in the door! Maggie: What's all this talk about a moon? Tano: The moon silly, you have to look at it in the light of the moon in order to see the door. Maggie: What? It's you being silly, weren't you listening when I was impersonating Elrond and reading the map? Liz: No, should we have? Maggie: Hannah and Allie were supposed to. Anyway, I'll tell you now, since you didn't listen then. This door has nothing to do with moonlight. To open this door the pertinent inscription reads: When the thrush knocks the setting sun with the last light of Durin's day will shine upon the keyhole. Acacia: Still doesn't help much, we don't know when Durin's Day is. Maggie: Durin's day is the Dwarvish new year, it's today silly, (points to the edge of the porch) There is your thrush and the sun is setting, if you look now you will see the keyhole. (They look to where the door should be and see no writing but simply a faint outline of a door and a small hole which is unmistakably a keyhole, Allie inserted the key and turned it, opening the door.) Allie: Well that worked, thank you unofficial loremistress. Maggie: (Looks smug) Allie: Now Hannah, it is your time to prove yourself. OOC: Wheee! it's good to be back. Elrond's starting to get stronger as an alter ego, I saw Two Towers last night for the first time and I kept getting a nervous twitch every time I saw Arwen and Aragorn kissing... This is strange....
