Katya: それをもって旅のprosperityというわけにはゆくまい。That's the entire sentence. The それ is referring to businesstrips in the previous sentence (I think). It really is too bad that my paper dictionaries don't have grammar entries. Or at least not this one. >_<

Mari, I'd say probably something like you thought, keep in mind. I got some interesting sentences when I searched "motte" though. For example 死をもって罪のつぐないをする, to atone for one's sins with one's life (er, death). Or 文書をもって回答されたい。"Please reply in writing."

Hello all! Just got back from school about two hours ago. First day back from Spring Break, oh man, that was fantastic. But unfortunately I had to go back to the world of studies and stress.

Sas, the Rule is the 90-seconds rule that prevents you from posting a new post within 90 seconds after the last one.
She, a cinnamon finger is some sort of cookie. Let me see if I can find a picture for you.  Wikipedia link (very short article, doesn't even include the recipe like the Dutch version does) The ones I have is with cinnamon and not so much sugar. Cinnamon is one of my favourite spices.
