I added a beautiful passage from Tolkien's (less canonical) works that Falagar posted:

"Thereafter shall the Silmarils be recovered out of sea and earth and air; for Eärendel shall descend and yield up that flame that he hath had in keeping. Then Fëanor shall bear the Three and yield them unto Yavanna Palúrien; and she will break them and with their fire rekindle the Two Trees, and a great light shall come forth; and the Mountains of Valinor shall be levelled, aso that the light goes out over all the world. In that light the Gods will again grow young, and the Elves awake and all their dead arise, and the purpose of Ilúvatar be fulfilled concerning them."

Nearly brought a (happy ) tear to my eye; the beautifully ancient sorrow and longing of Middle-earth finally restored to it's former glory...so beautiful...

Mine is a little changed version of something Gandalf said in FotR (the movie).
The other is a message to Lin (changes every now and then).

I'd love to have this gorgeous lyrics, but I want to have a short signature and therefore I wont put in the lyrics.

Oh yeah I changed mine a while ago. Now it's something I'm very fond of saying: "Tolkien is the fantasy god." I added in "To make a long story short" because I could write a freakin essay to elaborate on that fact, but I assume that Mooters understand.

Mine is my favorite LOTR quote and a pic I made with text that resembles a person poking some other guy with a stick. (wow, makes it sound like it's almost intelligent)

I can't see people's sigs because of my current option settings. Some people have really extremely unnessicarily long sigs. *coughJDcough* Mine's nice and short and to the point.

I have two- the first is easily recognizable as the last line of "The Hobbit" and I think it's cool because it not only suggests that there are more adventures forthcoming but also that there are more things at work than that which we can see, and how feeble our explanations of the wide world can be.

My second sig is a tribute to my favorite comic strip, Calvin and Hobbes, by Bill Watterson. It's also the title of the first Calvin and Hobbes book

my sig is a discreption Gandalf gave Aragorn in Many Meetings-FORT, Book Two, ch' 1. I liked the discreption, so i put it in. the second line is just a link to a site i play in- no real significance.
