I didn't think Robin wore a dress. I was talking about him, not LMM's avvie at that point.

No, he did wear a dress at one point, when he and L. John were pretending to be the gypsy fortune tellers in order to rob the Prince's carriage. But he didn't look nearly as pretty Marian.

My favorite is actually the 1938 film, but the cartoon version of Marian worked better as an avatar.

Just went to a short lecture about archaic age korai statues found around the acropolis... was interesting, but the speaker had a rather jerky speech pattern.

And dinner was actually edible tonight. Yay!

Nor did he look as pretty as Little John did.

Don't let Micheal Eisner hear you say that. Disney will have you tossed off the face of the Earth.

Very interesting. Tell me more.

Edible food! This concept is new to me. Everything I eat taste like rubber. I guess rubberband meatloaf isn't what everyone else eats.

I fart in Michael Eisner's general direction. I loathe the Disney executives; that company is run so unethically it is not even funny. But some of the old Disney films are lovely! What Eisner has done to Disney, oh Mr. Walt Disney is no doubt angrily rolling in his grave.

Anybody else want some pasta & wine?

Ohh, pasta and wine sounds so much better than rubberband meatloaf! Graci, Tessa. I think you mean angrily rolling in his cryogenic chamber. and I agree Eisner sux. Disney is so wonderful though. Have you ever senn The Emperor's New Groove? Hiliraious. It has the voices of David Spade, John Goodman, and of coarse one of my favorite actors Patrick Warburton. Loved him as Putty!

I hate David *cringe* Spade, and John Goodman - him too. No, sorry Farimir, I cannot share your enthusiasm of this latest film! What I love are the older classics, the movies that were made before Hollywood decided to cast live action "named' actors in the voice-over work. Stuff like Lady and the Tramp, and Snow White, you know, the real thing. Most of the modern Disney flicks piss me off. Chronicles of Narnia was backed by Disney, you know. Can't you tell? Based on that fact alone, that movie slightly pisses me off. A decidedly UBER-secular production house marketing a movie of theirs to the Christian masses, OH MY GOD what hideous hypocrisy and stuff like that. I need to stop; I'm beginning to rant.

Here's a list of some top classic Disney movies
http://www.amazon.com/gp/richpub/lis...Fencoding=UTF8

O.K. I admit I do like most of these. It's true. My guilty confession. Just keep David Spade and John Goodman VERY far away from my ears, or from my mental imaging center. *shudders violently.*

Very well Tessa, but never say bad things about Patrick or I'll poke you with my broomstick spork. Thank you for the link but I know every Disney movie by heart. My favorite is The Sword in the Stone. Archimedes was was awesome. Merlin too. I can still hear the songs in my head. . As for some of the new ones, how could you not like the Lion King? Simba was so cute. Timon and Pumba, come on.

Edit- before you say anything about Fantasia know that it gave me nightmares for weeks.

*looks around for suspicious moving brooms*

Archimedes rocks! Yep, I too love the Sword in the Stone. I think they based that movie mostly off of T.H. White's A Once And Future King; am I right here? Remember that book? I did my first book report on that book, when I was in fourth grade. That book is PHENOMENAL!!!

Fantasia was awesome. Nightmares are sometimes good for you! They help keep the imagination in a state of stimulus. But seriously, I can see how it could be a bit troublesome on the psyche - speaking of nightmares inspired by Disney flicks, the first movie I EVER saw was Snow White, and for years, years afterward I was still extremely worried about the wicked stepmother. She really bothered me, because even so young I was always conflicted about people, human nature, and the question of evil, and while she scared the living sh** out of me, I still remembered simultaneously feeling a pity, and empathy, for her. What a mind f*** for a little girl! Yeah, old Disney was the bomb. Those were the days.

I know, huh! Great reference! Hey, you want a glass of wine, Farimir? We have here a shiraz by Penfold's, and a phenomenal viognier by Alban. Take your pick!

I'd love a glass. Your choice. I'm afraid that my knowledge of wine is very limited. I know there are red and white ones. And that Franzia in a box is cheap and tasty!

Out 'a the chair, meathead!! No Franzia will be served anywhere near the venerable establishment that is the Teacup Cafe. We even cook with the best wines. So, if you prefer a white right now, I'll pour you a glass of the Alban Edna Valley Viognier; would you like that? It'll go swimmingly with the grilled shrimps and steamed snowpeas I'm serving tonight at the Cafe. Got the barbie going out on the Skybar patio, as we speak.

*Claire keeps trying to steal kabobs of shrimp; Leroy puts an admonishing paw on Claire. Lotesse continues to drink, oblivious.*

Love the movie posters you've added to the cafe Lotesse!
I tried using that black and white shot for my avatar but it came out far too small for any of the detail to be seen.

I really loved the animated disney films when I was little The Sword in the Stone and Robin Hood especially. But then around the time I transitioned from elementary to middle school I grew to really dislike the way all those films had been prettified and toned down from the original tales. I didn't mind the live-action stuff so much though... anyway, now I only watch the animated films when I'm sick, mainly so that if my younger siblings catch me at it I can claim delirium...

What sort of wine goes best with Peterpanitis?

Well, it looks like a good time for:
The The Tar Tar Pits
Hosted by less than noted physicist in training, Brendan Helliwell!
Brendan: Nothingness is as nothing as nothingness can be. Quite simply put, nothingness cannot exist, even if it does, because there is no way to describe it even if there were an infinite amount of nothing words, because, in essence, nothing is still something, in fact, it's everything.
Dr. Zaius: You're only a human! How could you know that!
Brendan: Well, technically, if you are referring to me knowing it, I don't have to know it. I just know it because it makes perfect sense.
Rod Serling: So nothingness is like the Twilight Zone if it were empty?
Dr. Zaius (mumbling thoughtfully): Didn't I kill you with a skillet?
Brendan: Well, technically, if that happened in nothingness, then you can't wield a skillet because wield is a word and is something, so it would be like a small universe or something.
Dr. Zaius: Um...that was HVEL that I killed him in.
Rod Serling: You might have killed me...or you might not. You have apparently entered...the Twilight Zone. *TZ music*
Dr. Zaius:
Brendan: Blue shift! Blue shift! *points at passing fire engine* Red shift! Red shift! Red shift!
Dr. Zaius:
Rod Serling:
Brendan: Never mind. Sorry, folks, that's all we have time for today. Please join us next time on an episode of The The Tar Tar Pits!
