ok

what did frodo reply to in a quavering voice?

BTW: this is a bit embarrasing but i just realised i'll be off filming from 11am uk time tommorow (fri) working late and have to be in Surrey on Saturday ... so will have to leave very early ... and up north Sunday - so i'll almost certainly not have a chance to reply before sometime Monday Uk time probably.

oops!

therefore i'll pm the answer to spock via tessar and also to valandil so everyone can contuniue ...

best

FIRST: I never got the answer from anyone, no PM's at all

SECOND: how about "go back to the Land of Mordor and follow me no more"?

I'll answer to your second point.

You are free to go ahead and do just that. Please send us all a postcard when you get there.

(I do think you are correct though.)

well i just checked .. they both have recieved the pm - i'll go and roast em' - with some mint sauce! ... i fancy some new potatoes too ... anyway, no problem

"go back to mordor" - nope. Was earlier in the book. he may well have quavered though - i should check i guess.

the answer can be what had just happened, the spoken words prior, or what frodo says next ... i.e. any answer relating to general event to which frodo replies with a quavering voice will be fine.

No. It only means that I think Spock is probably correct.

I do not have a book available so I cannot not check to "officially" certify Spock's (or anyone else's) answer.

(It also gave me a chance to try and write text that would not be visible on the computer screen. {at least mine} I just use color that is the same as the background color for the text, like so.)

Listen up: I did not receive the answer and still have not received the answer. The Mordor sentence was in answer to the question it was not smug nor sarcastic as was your reply. Please don't attack the person if you don't understand the post.

I did not think your answer was smug and/or sarcastic.

My reply was not intended to be an attack on you or anyone else.

It was my attempt of humor (apparently it did not succeed. ) via a play on your words.

Please accept my apologies for any damages that my writing has caused. It was not my intention.

well. i checked and luckily he didn't quaver at that point. thanks for the guess though spock

mmm ... not getting involved ...

anyway if spock says he didn't get the pm i beleive him - 100% . period. fact.

i'm not sure what anything else relates to ?? - but last thing i want to do is cause any mis-understandings ....

I cannot frankly see how anyone can view spock's reply as sarcastic or smug?

it seemed like an honest and fair reply.

... i'm guessing it's one of those previous posts jet-lag kinda things??????

anyway ... not my business ...

so... what did frodo reply to in a quavering voice?

best all BB

Would it be when Frodo offered the ring to Galadriel?

It is when Gandalf told him to hold the One Ring up and look closely at it, and Frodo said "I cannot read the fiery letters." Is that it?

Thanx, BB! I'll put a real easy one, since I love this word so much...

What are "neekerbreekers?"

When Frodo first saw Aragorn, he was described as "a ___________________ man"?
