My inclination has always been toward Celtic or Irish music. I like Jewish music too; it can be really fun. But those extremely melodic tunes sometimes greatly touch my heart.

I've adjusted to rock music, so that it is acceptable to me. In the past it wasn't. I've gotten over that, though, because of hearing it enough.

Tell me, has your study of the oriental at all affected your taste in music? What do you think of Arabic music?

I think it's really cool .

Don't those photographs seem at all promiscuous to you?

Anyway. I've never heard Tibetan music before. If you have a link to some, I'd be quite pleased to hear some of it.

promiscuous? i dont think so, more artistic to me..

tibetan music? i dont know of a link, i am sure there must be site somwhere, i have a couple of CD's, one of which has Om Mani Padme Hum, and also the Mantra to Avalokiteshvra on it, very relaxing, I am a terrible insomniac, so it helps to have peaceful, serene music playing in the background, and an incense stick burning

Sounds like the kind of music I would like too. Serene and peaceful. Those logs on the fire are always nice, of course . When the weather's right for it here, it's a special treat. California weather is not very often cold. It's lately been frequently moderately cool, but we have such even temperature it's tough to find a time cold enough for the log on the fire.

I'm nocturnal while I'm writing a book. Or almost nocturnal. For me, a new day does not start at 12:00 AM. A new day starts at 4:00 AM, and an old day ends at 4:00 AM. That's because I almost never at all stay up later then 4:00, but I do sometimes stay up until 3:30 or 3:45. I've just almost never gone up that late.

Are you saying it's headaches that keep you up summer nights?

My sister's playing the piano at the moment. I'll turn it on after everyone else is in bed, while I'm up late playing computer games . Like I shouldn't be doing, because tomorrow is a school day .

Ah. So you're intentionally nocturnal in those months. Interesting. Has your doctor said anything about the headaches?

yep, intentionally
the headaches are jsut related to my low tolerance for heat
much as many people just feel a little uncomfortable in hot weather

i dont really trust the advice of doctors though,
not since i went to one and she said there was nothing wrong with my back
and then 2 years later i am having an operation to correct scoliosis and ankylosing spondylitis

Ah, yes. A neighbor of mine has the same opinion, an inside opinion, because she was once a nurse. She says the system is also highly political.
