Hey Everyone!
My name is Gary Wassner. I am the author of the Epic Fantasy series GemQuest, the first three books of which, The Twins, The Awakening and The Shards are on the shelves at your local Barnes and Noble stores now. They are also available from Amazon.com, Clarkesworld.com, barnesandnoble.com and all the other online retailers. Book IV, The Revenge of the Elves, is now done and will be released sometime in 2006, and Book V, When Monsters Call Out the Names of Men, is almost finished.
The Hobbit was the first fantasy I ever read, and I was hooked from that day forward. I owe a tremendous debt to Tolkien. He opened my eyes to a world that I never knew was there before. And I have not closed them since. Although my books are not meant to be anything like his (I would not presume to ever compare myself to him) I write in the same tradition using many of the same tropes. I have never tired of them, nor lost my love for them, so it was natural for me to use them in my own way to tell my own story. I hope some of you take a moment to visit my website and tell me what you think. http://www.garywassner.com I hope to participate in some of the discussions here in the future. Thanks. Welcome, Gary! You should check out the RPG forum and the Writer's workshop...they seem just right. Personally, I prefer this RPG. Welcome to the Moot!

Well, the pirates might be able to use a new face in the game. It has been slow and quiet.
Welcome to the Entmoot, Marìgold. Hope to see you around (and in the RPG-forum).

You almost missed the beginning of a new era, the surrender of the galaxy and the rise of Darth Emperor Rohirrim in his starship EDDIE as its supreme ruler!
And myself becoming his campaign manager and subsequently Grand Admiral Brendan
