She's right Link, you can never be ashamed of playing too much video games. I play Persona 3 for pretty much every free minute I had over the summer. If you noticed that I was absent from the Moot for a while, that was why.

I'm getting nothing. Come again? You mean her name is Chelsea Footer, or you mention her in your footer? *A-hem* You all should be proud of me! I'm getting this vibe that Chelsea is some sort of TEAM... possibly soccer, or in Europe, football (I've got to differentiate due to my American-ness... apologies)? Google is good at reading my mind sometimes.

Whew... I need some STRONG... tea.
I just totally double-whammied my English teacher* in our weekly blog (we get points for blogging, so she can see our writing style, which is very cookie-cuttered because she gives us ONE prompt and after the first week, when she reprimanded me for not following the prompt, we all don't really want to try diverting again at the risk of not getting points). She's making us do a debate against each other and asked us the similarities and differences of writing and debating. I challenged her curriculum in making us debate in the first place. It's a writing class. If we were learning writing, maybe debating would work. We're not. We have to reply to another post to get all the points. In my reply, I mentioned how writing is generally MUCH better if you let the writers choose the topic. I feel weak-kneed. But I am so fed up with that teacher! I've had enough shoddy teaching. She must know that she's going to get eighteen AWFUL class evaluations at the end of semester! *Graduate Student, first time teaching the level of English I'm taking, at the beginning of the semester, she flippantly told us she thought she'd "try it out" for a while. She shouldn't have. She may know a bit about English, but she knows jack squat about teaching it. Making all of us write about a) something we don't care about and b) the same thing; not telling us what she expects of us, and grading us as if she had... etc.

*pours tea and leaves cookies and ice cream out for Midge*
That's awfully frustrating. Almost through, though. Tell her you have an online seminar in literature.

*snarfs all the chocolate she can see*
I don't think Entmoot counts for college credit hours. Although THAT would be awesome! Almost through is right. Eight more weeks and never another english class again! Only professors who care about content in an essay, not the format or the style... It sounds like heaven.

*seems to remember hearing Empress say before that she wouldn't go into the theology section again...*
Better get myself to class now. I'm in a good mood because we had a group-evaluation and everyone was real adult about it. Yay us!
