Haven't seen HoFD yet either, but have watched CTHD and Hero, both which I thought were brilliant.

Last movie I saw was Lemony Snickets: A Series of Unfortunate Events, which I thought was ok. Some great acting and some very good scenes, but it had a problem with continuity and some plot holes the size of the thing above Antarktis.

That's based on a real story you know! Now everyone makes naked calendars.

I'd like to see that movie.

Just saw The Boondock Saints this week-end. I thought that it was fantastic (, I suppose). While rather odd, the story is interesting. And the way that it's filmed is great (erm... ). Yeah. So, you should see if it yeh haven't! |smile/nod|

Boondock Saints is really great! though the story is a bit weird, and it is just slightly bloody, it is very good.

Last movie I saw was Blues Brothers, for what must be the tenth time. Man, that movie rocks! The music, the acting, the dancing moves. Especially Jake I think is marveolus. Love that movie.

Saw two movies this weekend...

Napolen (sp) Dynamite: Funny, weird, I encourage watching it with beer and lots of nachos

The King Author flick (name?): Excellent, I'll buy this one for the DVD library. Don't think some of it was accurate to legend, but the story line way cool and more interesting then the film starring Sean Connery (no reflection on Sean's coolness -actor, which is high..ahem).

Saw The Bachelor, which was funny and cute. The funniest thing was a thousand women in wedding dresses chasing one guy through the streets. Hilarious.

Also saw Shrek 2. Cute, and- I think- better than the first (with the exception of the giant gingerbread man- wha...?). Antonio Banderas was fantasic. Puss steals the show- right up until Shrek becomes human. lol.

Yes, I admit to being influenced by an animated cartoon....I am officially mental!
