my summer was practically over 2 weeks ago because i had basketball camps and im in one right now so i only get a couple days of summer left. but i can pick even more now on those stupid grade 9s and grade 8s

I start school again tuesday. The 26th. I'm in eighth grade, and me'n'friends have already got plans for overthrowing our principal. Should be a fun year. If it didn't alert the fire Department, we were going to throw the fire alarm, but we don't want to distract the Fire Dep. So instead we'll cause minor mayhem until the last week, then we'll cause major mayhem.

you have to wear a tie

we only have to wear those on special occasions and that bad enough. many people wear the school clothes just like they do normal clothes so its not that bad

I started in August 31st 9th grade. I guess it's gonna be as boring as last year. And I want to get a 95 average, as last year!

(I really got a 95.5 average. I was so surprised... too bad my sister got a better average when she was in the 8th grade)

lol, that is way wrse then me. All i have to wear is a dress shirt (only to colours are allowed though, and htey have to bought from the school) and grey or blue dress pants and dress shoes. Ties are only on school masss days, and sweaters are optional. I can wear a polo shirt is i want to but i dont like them. tomorrow is the beggining of hell

My school year starts tomorrow. The day Tolkien died, which I take as a bad omen. I start at a new school, because my last school only went to grad 6. And this year I have to take a bus, which I am NOT looking forward to.

Means i actually have to be on time.

Lucky You! We have to order it all from school except i get my own trousers but end up getting told off for as i always wear flared trousers. We have to wear sweatshirt with the school logo on oh and it gets worse we have to wear school kit for sports. lol and shoes have to be black and heels no higher than 1 1/2 inches (they often get measured too) lol
Very strict school but it's cool.

School tomorrow!! First day of Junior High, and I can't even find my way around. At least my friend's in my class and my cousin's in grade 8 there to help me out. I only go for a half a day though (every Wednesday) but that's because we start at eight in the morning.

Grrr...... Why did i get a bottom locker? Some ppl who come up to my midrift they're so short (not really, but hey), got top lockers! Bah! It wasn't actually that bad, tho. We didn't have to rotate classes today, and my homeroom teacher isn't as bad as some people say she is.

why would you get a half day because you start at 8 am??

My school starts around 7:30, but you have to there earlier - and sometimes you have activities to do in the morning that start at 7 am (sectionals...). That means that 6 am is the longest I have to sleep til. And guess what time HSers go to bed? Late. Stay up late (usually doing work as the year progresses...) and get up early. Yay.

School doesn't let out until 2:30 PM, but most days I have activities right after school (as do most people). Like tomorrow, on the first day of school I have practice until 6 pm.

Hell does start tomorrow - but HS is a vast improvement over middle school/junior high.

At least I have drivers ed frist quarter

We don't get lockers!

We have to carry everything all day and as it's my last year i have so many books and textbooks by back kills me. I have 6 text books and 7 exercise tomorrow and thats a good day.

We start school at 8.55am but leave at 7.40am and we finish at 3.40 and then takes another hour to get home and i am so tired right now i'm too used to just doing nothing for the last 6 weeks.

Make it a holiday. Just read The Silmarrillion in all your classes. You can't miss anything important. For the first couple weeks in my school, we're just reviewing, so that's my plan anyway.
