it was on a lotr website, but recently new line made them take it off, i agree, they are trying to kill us off, they want to turn all tolkien fans into lotr movie warriors. I love the movie, but i live off of the book

When they show that hand the background is all green, like they're in a forest or something. Not much foliage by Shelob's lair.

Andy Serkis (and others) said that the flashback would be in ROTK. There are several pictures of the scene on the net. Based on that, a flashback seems to be a good guess at the origin of that shot.

Does anybody think the trailer will be on the TT dvd when it comes out on the 26th? Thereby allowing those who buy or rent it to see it earlier? I think that would make sense.

I think that the trailer will be released before the next new line cinema film and especially if it is a bad one. that way people will go see it.

I'm pretty sure that the trailer is going to be on the TT dvd...it's gonna be 10 minutes long like the TT trailer was on the FoTR dvd....I remember reading this somewhere so hopefully it's true!

Do you think they would do that? Well, I suppose they would... Marketing... gah!

But if it's the same trailer as the one I've downloaded, I won't be missing it any time soon. I found this trailer rather dull and it filled me more with a feeling of dread of possible overdramatised scenes than hopeful anticipation. I had expected more of a trailer for RoTK. Hopefully this was just the first try-out that was never meant to be released and that the next trailer will be improved.

it's on the second disk...it's not a true trailer in that there are interviews with PJ about how they were creating Gollum but they did show clips and stuff from the movie...more than I thought they would show anyways

With a lot of films they do that. They show quite a few trailers and they usually get better as they go along and then like a month or less before the film comes out they have a fantastic one!

There is a "Behind the Scenes Preview" on the bonus disc for TTT. It's very effective. A bit of "paths of the Dead" and battle scenes of course. No Shelob yet. It seems they were not ready when the disc was made for a full theatrical trailer.

Yep that's going to be there. If you head over to TheOneRing.net and search for pictures of Boromir, you'll find one of him dead in the boat and the cloven horn.
